The places and options that will allow you to earn easy/fast levels are unlocked later on and some are presented to you through the story (or through the innevitable spoilers :v) Welcome aboard baby tenno, warframe is one of my favorite games and has been for over 7 years, hope you stick around for many more warcrimes for many more hours and maybe years to come, hope you enjoy.
I remember when I first started getting serious about playing the game, I checked out some video "tips for baby tenno" and my main takeaway (among other things) was loot detector on the warframe or animal instinct on the companion and absolutely have vacuum or fetch on the companion to suck up all those drops. I picked Mag as my starter, which I couldn't figure out how to use her abilities properly, and her passive ability makes it easier to pick up drops
For a new player, you got a good foundation of field play, just systems and knowledge are your last two blocks. A couple of tips as well for field play I have not seen mentioned yet. Rolling reduces all damage during the roll by half so if you see a big hit coming and can't dodge, rolling through it would help survive it. Also as another person mentioned, it prevents knockdown and it can be used to bypass laser fences that normally knocks down players attempting to cross them. Enemy accuracy drops severely as you move. You can roll in any direction while mid air including forward to get more distance but side ways to dodge obstacles, or incoming attacks. Bullet jump near or on enemies to knock them down. Does little damage but it will gaurantee a knock down if the enemy can be knocked down. Slide can also be done in mid air to push air speed, this can also do some damage and it's called a dragon kick . Slide can also smooth your landings and maintain momentum. Any surface to feet contact have will reset your double jump count, so clipping walls with a wall jump and barely brushing off the floor can lead to incredible flow of movement.
The jackal battle is a knowledge check disguised as a boss battle. The tutorials and previous missions introduced the systems, mechanics, and ways of the game to the player and the jackal will check if the player can apply the mentioned mechanics/systems in various situations. Checks the mods if the player wf/weapons stats/damage is too low. Checks the proper movements if the player always gets hit. Etc. Good to see you win it second try tho👏
Warframe and weapon slots are incredibly rare to get free (nightwave is pretty much the only way and that cycles every several months.) Which is why your chat suggested using your 50 starting plat on slots.

To be fair. I think everyone who came to this game thinking "i will be sneaky ninja" and takes bow, and kunays has disatvantage against Jackal. Both of those are rather slow projectile weapons. But most people at this moment still leveling first weapons so they dont think about switching.
I will be honest. While you do forget abilities and, lets be fair we all do. There are two things I would like to point out. 1. Flicking is a bad habit for warframe. Warframe doesn't give any aim assist like other games, like Destiny 2, would. You either set it to the right direction and hit or you don't. Flicking is meant to take advantage of how lenient aim assist is typically and currently you have 0. Flicking actively makes it harder for you to aim in warframe. 2. Please look at the stat sheet to the left of the modding screen. It will provide so much context in building. It provides maybe too much context for building, but the more info the merrier. If either of these tips are taken into any account, I will be happy, especially the one on stats, cause it will do -60% confusion and +60% context.
Watching new people play Warframe is always enjoyable but you should start paying attention to the top left and some sound ques. Also don't forget to use your other abilities besides the 1st one
