- This is part 1 of the Rock-afire Explosion's de-installation at Scandia Golf & Games, documenting the removal of the last Rock-afire show in Canada (and one of the last public shows in all of North America).
In this segment, you'll see the trek from Colorado to Kelowna and show removal prep. There's also a couple performances of "The Lion Sleeps Tonight" both with and without the compressor. The missing masks (which were ripped right off the animatronics and stolen) give this show an extra creepy vibe, like something you'd see in Five Night's at Freddy's!

So sad to see them gone. I went New Years 2019 to see them and spent a few days there. A lot of good memories.
I almost had a heart attack before realizing it was a re-homing and not a destruction😅.
I really hope we get to see more content of the shows!

Man, i remember when they were running back in the 80s. It was a dark disco like thing, jungle themed with black lights, there was a tiki mask that sang along, too. I had no idea it was a Rock-afire!
Such a shame people had to go and be thieves. Whoever you are, you ruined this show for others to enjoy in public.
They should like keep it and remove the curtains and just put a sign about the rock afire explosion and remove the show selector button and have them peformed but not moving and still have the lights on and have them bear
As someone who visits family in the area, I was never able to see these guys live. I did, however look behind the curtain once or twice while I had the opportunity to visit the mini golf. Sad to see them go, happy to see them still be loved.

Scandia's new dook mask was stolen before the rest of the masks. Maybe around 2021 ish? Can't remember

They’re currently being re-homed to new owners. We would have kept them but we already have a brand-new Rock-afire show.
