Well, I noticed that you CAN indeed upgrade to Windows 11 from a system running an x86 OS! There's a procedure involving 8 beta builds for it. Here is a video detailing the explanation: ua-cam.com/video/xOMtuAerX3g/v-deo.html I'm not sure if this will work with my install, however, since unlike VintageComputingCanuck's upgrade procedures, I did end up upgrading to 2000. This required modifications to the registry. Can't find out without doing it with the modifications, though.
