Is the charging simple? Or do you need a charging set up like how people charge teslas and such
Nope. Super easy. Simply plug it into a normal wall outlet and plug it into the battery.

Wife rides a R1 how can I make her Brat faster??? I’m on a 72v chi battery SurRon and she’s starting to hate her Brat because it’s just not fast enough for our style riding despite being one the best looking e-bikes out there.. I do a ton of off road with the SurRon but we do a ton of on road riding when we are out together like our R1 and GXSR. We want to add extensions to pull the rear tire back 3”s with gold chain, lower it, and up the power so she can get through the city roads easier with me and ride like we do on our big bikes.
We already added inverted bars and a rear half dome cowl/cover for the rear seat. Looks total cafe now like it’s ready for speed and cornering
Not sure about upgrading the controller but I have heard another Brat owner talk about doing an upgrade on another channel. The Brat is the perfect get around town bike. Not so sure about off roads as a stock bike but with the DNM air shock and the new Magura brakes I installed it would probably handle a lot better. Just uploaded another video today with the install. Check it out! And the Maguras are on sale for 116$ now. It’s great upgrade from the two piston brakes.
@@MACMOTOLA she definitely won’t be doing any off-road on her brat. She wants a street fighter lol. So she just ordered ordered tonight everything so we can slam it to the ground and get her in the total race position lol
Looking at hub and spoke options now.. found only one guy on UA-cam so far who has swapped the hub so we’re going to find a way to go 60v or 72v one way or another.
When we do we’ll get upgraded brakes to compliment the power. Love your vids thank you 🙏

I don’t know but I’ll definitely keep searching for it again. It was super instructive.. he even did work on modifying the battery as well. I’ll keep searching for the vid
Can you lock it with keys or phone so u can run in the store without worrying someone will ride off on it?
Unfortunately, not, but there are some great lock options that you can get from kryptonite that will lock the bike securely. I’m looking to add a key option. Just trying to figure out mechanics of it all.

They just got a new CEO. I didn't hear they were about to go under but I agree, the price was a bit high. They lowered the price to $2000 back in September. It's now listed at $2400...

Thats cool. Can anybody ride one? I have a feeling they are only available to hipster do shhhh bags who dress like 12 year olds. Is this true? Thats not fair. I'd like to ride one but I don't want to steal some prepubescent boys wardrobe just to take a ride. Sucks man. The struggle is real.

At first glance I loved it but all this nonsense about signing waivers and registering to get full power is bullshit. If I give you $3,000 you'd better give me the bike and whatever it's capable of doing. And I'll sign one document saying I'm responsible for anything that happens to me post purchase. Sux I was legit about to click buy before I watched this.
You don’t need to sign anything. It’s a class 2 bike at 20mph. Acknowledging the waiver with the app releases them from liability should you decide to go over the class 2 speeds.

Meh. It’s an average speed for this type of bike. But I agree, 35mph would be better.

Yea. If you can catch it on sale at 2400, that’s the sweet spot. Overall it’s been a really fun bike to get around town with.
