I have a cat that was born with identical conditions. The doctor said that she would never be able to move her back legs. The cat quickly recovered to normal and is now a healthy 14 year old. It is never too late. Some cats find a way to overcome obstacles with a little bit of help

I love how your understanding of disability has grown with fostering this cat. Able bodied people are often confused by the idea that I don’t want to be “fixed”. And often I can’t seem to explain it to them with words. You managed to figure that out with Chloe even though she can’t speak to you.
I'm a tough guy but i literally respect this girl more than any solder, sportsman, or any hero. She's the Hero!
My heart goes out to the absolutely amazing Kitten Lady! The world needs more people like her. She has dedicated her life to saving/helping all these kittens in need. She is my hero!

The fact that she cried at first watching Chloe crawl around is so heartwarming. We want the best for all fur babies, but they teach us how resilient they truly are. It’s adorable because animals don’t know any different, they just live their lives with the hand they are dealt and make the best of it!

Don't be sad about them losing feeling in their legs! Be happy that they're becoming a unique kitten, and be happy that they're learning to adapt as a kitten! It's like seeing a fish and crying because it doesn't have legs.

Paralyzed cats make FANTASTIC pets!!!!! My cat became paralyzed, like Chloe, in her later years. She rolled so fast in her wheelchair she'd slip out and keep going. She didn't need it and didn't want it. She was my BEST friend. I'd do it all over again in a snap.

@@c0zy01 Yes. She had a congential defect. It was necessary to express her bladder/bowels 3x/day. She took daily medications for most of her life and created as much or more laundry than a human. People suggested that I euthanise though she was never in pain. She was happy! A huge responsibility and worth every single moment. She lived happily for 11 years...I'd happily do it again for any little creature as wonderful as her.
Sanguinefern Awe props to you for giving her such a wonderful life when most wouldn't. I'm sorry for you loss even if it was a long time ago. Our pets are like family and its heartwarming to come across people that genuinely feel that way too. May she rest in peace. ❤️
I wish i had the financial ressources to foster kitten like that. The equipment alone but with the doctors appointments on top of that is way too high. Kitten Lady is and always will be the absolute number 1in fostering. All praises her way!

Due to an accident, my kitten was paralyzed for almost five months threw me into so much emotional rollercoaster. I don't how would I cope with such situation. Hats off to those guys.
Nobody is strong enough to avoid tears when the foster gets adopted. I was in the same spot when 2 of my foster orphan canine sisters were adopted, even though their new home was just a football field away 😅. God bless you and the Angel.

Thank you saving that ADORABLE kitten. She is in the situation as I am..., paralyzed from waist down but doesn't let this slow her down. Im sure she doesn't know how her body Should work.understand hows We would be perfect together. The wheelchair that Cloe had was too bulky. Not seeing her run in it I don't how she moves around on. My guess .. is that she
could only go Fwd & back.
She is awesome tho. Nothing slows that lil girl down

You really have brought awareness to paralyzed kittens I for one was completely ignorant and fearful of the idea of adopting one with this disability but after seeing what you have shown that with love all life is worth living and fighting for I would absolutely consider it

Seriously. At the end of this video, I caught myself thinking..... I want to foster/adopt whatever! I want these animals that get overlooked now too. I would absolutely love to foster kitties, but I know me, and I know I would end up with 3,687 cats! I just couldn’t raise a kitty and then give him/her away! I have so much respect for this wonderful foster cat momma who can give these little ones the special love and attention they need to survive AND be able to find these babies new homes! 💞

My first fosters got adopted two weeks ago, and my mother won't let me have more until after New Years. Watching this reminded me of them, I miss them so much. I had wanted to foster for two years and my parents surprised me and brought them to me one day suddenly. It is so odd and sort of sad for me when I go to bed at night and I have no kittens to feed first, or when I come home and there are no tiny fluff balls waiting in the window for me to come home... I am so sad, my life almost the same to how it was before I got them, but now I know how much work it is, but I just want kittens more now, because I know I can handle it. Life is so dull, it is just repeating the same pattern of habits day after day, just waiting for something. I love cats, maybe more than anything in the world, I always have and I always will. I want more kittens so badly, but I am allergic to them and I might have asthma so my mom wants to wait until we have it sorted out. Nothing is soon enough, I am just waiting for meaningless, no one would care about one thirteen-year-old girl fostering a few litters of kittens. I am just waiting, I don't know what I am waiting for, but I just feel like I am always waiting for something that will make me completely happy, something that will get rid of this cloud hovering over me that makes every day just the same as the last and the next, that makes every day a monotonous cycle that won't stop until I am done waiting for the solution... So far the closest thing that makes me even a bit happy is cats and baking. I just don't have enough of each, and I need to wait until I can have more of both, then I might be happy. Oh my gosh, I went on a rant, lost track of time, I didn't mean to do that... I just wanted to say how much I missed my fosters, oops.

Amazing human lady ,wish she'd come to Puerto Rico and Hiep over here, these people r quite ignorant, we have an animal problem here and d government does not really care about humans much less about animals I'm here alone, without a job but with the little that I have I try to feed and care for d couple of strays at d gas station In front of my house,even d birds that can't fly are my babies it's always been my passion. I watched videos from The Kitten Lady ,to learn how to feed and take care of very very small young and new born kittens and that saved all my Sweet Babies because I learned so much .If not for Her ,I may not do what I do and maynot have my Sweet Babies that I have now .I'm so glad Chloe is adopted by someone who loves her and knows She's just a sweet and precious Kitty Cat ❤️💜💖💖💜❤️

And she isn't an 'orange tabby' but a cream-colored female. Orange felines are mostly male, too, while black-white-red torties/calicos are female.
@Lynette Scribner... Yep, besides not being the most empathic person, either - the kitten has been paralyzed from the start and this was the only way of life she knew, so pitying her was unnecessary and not exactly helpful.

I rescued and fostered for about two weeks a kitten like Chloe. I named her Kyla Bunny (she had a cute bunny floof tail), the vet said she was most likely permanently paralyzed waist down-she had no feeling in her back legs and she couldn't poo and pee on her own. Other than that she was healthy, just that she will need full time care for life as she is unable to express her own bladder and poop. A wonderful shelter called S.I Shelter took Kyla in as they care for many special need, sick and handicap cats. For the brief time I had Kyla with me, she has given me much joy being my first foster kitten - challenging as I never kept any pets before moreover a paralyzed one, but I have seen her bloomed from a scared hissy stray kitten to an active, playful bundle of joy. Like Chloe, she didn't let her condition keep her down-Kyla was feisty and so quick on her two front feet sometimes it felt like she flew across the floor! I missed her so much but I couldn't keep her due to my full time job, I hope one day she will be adopted to a loving forever home just like Chloe
