- A Florida plastic surgeon is facing charges in connection with his wife’s death after she suffered cardiac arrest and died days after he performed procedures on her in his clinic last year. Santa Rosa County, Florida Sheriff Bob Johnson says Benjamin Brown "has not been cooperative" at all.

I think he’s just that arrogant, that he thought he could control the situation. I also think he didn’t want the bad press on him as a surgeon, if he were to call 911.

What do you mean people received procedures they didn’t ask for. Who works there? There is more than one person guilty here. The others could have called 911 earlier. They are just as guilty.

I wouldn't think it would be appropriate for a spouse to operate on their spouse. This guy seems like a real doozie. Seems he's not the first plastic surgeon to operate on his wife.
This is quite suspicious and should be fully investigated. Sounds like he didn't want her to live.
I dont Believe he killed her on purhowever she did die. Unfortunately, because of his gross, negligence and failure to call proper authorities. When she was seizing, that was incredibly was nervous because he knew he was doing some shady things and didn't want to be exposed.

Not all couples fight, full stop. Ive been with my husband for 23 years, we dont really fight or even argue. We’ve had slightly heated discussions maybe every 2-3 years and only one has happened in front of an audience, it still bothers me. Usually we can talk everything thru, in a calm and respectful manner. With my ex it was cats & dogs, though..

I just read today about how common it is for doctors to commit suicide. Knowing that makes me suspicious that he killed his better half.

Before I say anything else, yes he deserves jail time, but I can't imagine he meant to kill his wife, I feel bad for him in that regard, he must feel awful about what he did, but with that said, we've seen a lot of these malpractice doctors and I'm glad someone is finally facing justice for what they did.
She was drugging and suturing herself, both sound crazy.
Remaining quiet and not speaking to police isn’t not cooperating. It is your right. The smartest thing you can do is not answer any police questions whether you’re guilty or not! Anything you say can and will be used against you.

It's scary to think he ran a practice and very sad that his wife died because of his negligence. We put a lot of trust and doctors and for him to perform procedures that patients did not ask for? Wtf?

During plastic surgery cases, lidocaine is injected. At a certain dose the patient has ringing in the ears and eventually seizure. Untreated seizure can cause breathing to stop. This will eventually result in cardiac arrest.

Not many people die from plastic surgery statistically speaking, maybe he thought he can handle this procedure u till it was late. I don’t think he wanted to kill her they were still newly weds and in honeymoon period.

Why would the wife allow herself to go under the knife for that many cosmetic procedures? It appears that she was looking for perfection when there was nothing wrong with her outside appearance. But mental health is a thing that you cannot see. And it seems as if she had real mental health issues
