All Engines: Cummins ISB 6.7, Caterpillar C7, Navistar DT466E, Cummins ISB 5.9, General Motors (Chevrolet/GMC) Vortec 6.0,

Thomas Perkins We had 7 of them. We are down to 4. 07-99 died about 3 weeks ago. I got a feeling that 07-96 is next.

well still vt365 is a piece of shit motor, same thing for the maxxforce 7.

The maxxforce 7 is a whole different engine... vt365 is a 6.0 and maxx7 is a 6.4 twin turbo

I can see that but they are both crappy enigines but the vt365 is better then the maxxforce 7, i would just stick with the DT466E/maxxforce DT.

The VT365's were just as bad as the MaxxForce7. I Would agree. But the 6.4 Powerstroke under that hood is not dependable.

Maxxforce 7 is the 6.4 bullshit excuse of a replacement for the 6.0. the T444e was the best there was.

The kit was 30k. By the time we did all 7 buses with 100k+ miles on them we could buy 3 new ones.

Probally do to it being cold, If you give them time to warm up they'll usually even out, I have a VT365 in my own truck works like a champ

FuturzMinion Plenty. Lol. I've only been working on them a year. But the electrical problems with these are terrible. Mostly the relays on top of the firewall. The connectors and the relay themselves burn out. Then the bus won't start. In one year of working here I've replaced them on all buses.

Fredriq Craft Wow. Most of the problems we have here are injector issues like mad. the other major source of issues is the Air Conditioning.

FuturzMinion These don't have A/C (or heat really) but we keep 8 injectors on hand in the shop for that reason. They last about 2-3 years. Lol

What is the meaning of the IC dashboard buzzer?

@@nowhere2471 that buzzing noise is a hydraulic brake pump that pumps up the hydraulic brakes. It turns on when you switch the key on as well as when you mash the break pedal in with the key off or occasionally with the bus running.
