Track and field athlete Yaroslava Maguchih called for a boycott of russian and belarusian athletes

Yaroslava Maguchih, a track and field athlete specializing in the high jump and bronze medalist of the 2020 Summer Olympic Games, has become the new ambassador of the large-scale communication campaign "Sports Against War", which is being implemented by 1+1 media to call for a boycott of russians and belarusians in major sports.
The shooting of the new video took place in the city of Dnipro near the residential building, which was hit by a rocket attack by the russian troops in January 2023. As a result of the attack, the entire entrance of the apartment building was destroyed. It is known about 80 wounded and 46 dead, among them - Ukrainian boxer and honored coach of Ukraine Mykhailo Korenovskyi.
Thus, in a thematic video message, the first two-time champion of the Diamond League in the history of Ukraine, who this year set a season record with a high jump of 2.03 meters, called on the international sports community not to allow russians and belarusians to participate in all possible competitions.
