I run freight trains in California. We rarely get thunder and lightning here for some reason. I’m jealous! Listening to music while working would be nice too!
Wind and rain really isn’t too much of an issue, but flooding and lightning strikes are the biggest risks. Tornadoes can derail trains, there is a video of one on UA-cam, it’s quite nasty
Trains and lightning. What's not to love 😁
This is freakishly awsome.

coming from the UK where no distractions like music in the cab is allowed, i was quite surprised to find radio's in the locos
He probably Brought a speaker into the train
Music, Love is like oxygen...Sweet!
I hear pink singing who knew lol. Btw that was a great video
Thanks, the local radio did play some good tunes, guess I’m lucky the UA-cam copyright police hasn’t flagged this video like some others
2:22 a scare rainbow
Thats cool. Would the train go through really bad weather like tornados and high winds? Or would it be unsafe and possibly damage the machinery?

excellent choice in music! nice storm. sounds like you got a couple of GE's
Thad ward hi. The music was on the radio, so pot luck that the tunes were good. The locos we have are basically Dash 8’s

CentralJerseyRailfan No, these are P classes. CM25-8
Night footage is really rare, nice vid. Would be great if a little bit of the cab was in shot.
Trouble is, then you get reflection off the glass
@@47606odin Ahh, right. I didn't think about that.
It’s cool but should be sustained for longer periods one one train
Sorry, I don’t quite follow
Is this kismet
