2 year owner of the Enfield Continental GT Ice Queen here in Thailand. Motorcycle collector and have everything from a Ducati 748 to Kawasaki ZX6R. But my daily ride and overall favorite motorcycle is the Enfield! It’s just so incredibly well balanced. Brilliant machine.

A friend of mine recently bought an ex-demonstrator Interceptor, he loves it and says although it's not as fast as his Bonneville it's just as you said, fun to ride with a very pleasing nature, I'm sure you will love this bike. They were the best selling bike in Britain last year, that tells you how good they are.
He can always get it tuned properly and extract atleast 60-65bhp from that motor.

Wait till the bike has a thousand miles on it. It'll get even better after its broken in! I rode my friends brand new GT after riding mine which has 2k miles on it and I couldn't believe how bad the brand new bike felt in comparison.

I spent two and a half hours with my Brother test riding the Interceptor and the Continental. The continental suited me best, the interceptor suited my Brother. Both are better bikes than you expect. Great fun. They've got the looks too.
By the way, my regular bike is a BMW K1300 GT and I ride about eighty miles a day on that.

They’re great bikes. I’m a huge Royal Enfield lover. The 650 twins have brought RE back into vogue, recently announced in the UK as the best selling bike, and in Australia the best modern retro.
Are there better bikes out there? On paper, sure. But the best bike to ride is the one that leaves a huge smile on your face, the Continental and Interceptor 650 don’t seem to leave anyone disappointed.
In Chiang Rai in northern Thailand, it's Triumph that sells Royal Enfields. They are selling like hotcakes in England, mainly the Interceptor which is the best selling bike in Britain.

I really consider that the interceptor gives me more joy than the iron 883. I made the same change as you and I don't regret it.

I took one out for a test ride pre covid. That and a honda cb500x. Both very different bikes but the honda was boring next to the Enfield. Just a FUN bike to ride. They got this one right.
I first fell in love with this beaut back in 2014 when RE had introduced the 450 GT in red and as a 20 yr old with a 220cc cruiser it was a dream bike for me back then, but they discontinued it by the time I was planning to upgrade but am glad the have relaunched it as a 650 now since am fed up of my 4wheeler now and need a new bike, RE has totally changed the game in Motorcycles back here in India and a glad to see it appreciated all around the world. Can't wait to get my hands on mine.

Have ridden bikes for years .Got out of it 2 years ago had no one to ride with any more ,all my friends got other hobbies ,Then i went into a local bike dealer to kill some time a week ago. I wanted to look at the triunph thruxton.The sales man told me they do not make the base thruxton And they and they are pricey now . They also had none in stock. Then he said we sell enfields now, he showed me the continental gt i liked it .I went home started researching it ,I went back to dealer told them i want one asap .I love the bike and all the stuff they make for them, I am sold .I am going to dealer next week to buy one.I just need to pick a color they have 3 assembled and 6 in crates ,Your video sold me on the bike thanx!

They really need to put that 650 in Himalayan, and then we will be talking. But other than that, it’s a brand new bike, that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg and has a warranty and dealer support.

I love both equally, the Suzuki is my commuter/touring bike and the RE is my weekend bike.

Fuel gauge works fine on my interceptor. Glad you got one. Made by fave channel even better. Only issue I.ve had is clutch cable likes to adjust itself. Later ones have normal locknut. Not got round to changing it yet. At the lever that is.

Himalayan 650 is coming it was due to launch in 2021 but due to covid its launch is delayed till end of 2022.

When you showed it at the end of the last vlog I went back to the beginning and seen the sold sign on it sitting next to Kelly's at the dealership.
I ride around town in the teens on snow,but! 30's for a longer distance will make you hurt.

Wow what a surprise to see this Vlog. I always look at the other one. It's also not a surprise to see you bought a new Royal Enfield. How can anyone pass up the great buy they are. Euro twins are really fun bikes. I especially like the English breeding of the Royal Enfield and Triumphs. I love the sound of the motors and the fun factor of just a plain motorcycle. One of my bikes is a 2014 Triumph T100 which is an air cooled model. Very similar to your new bike although it's more of a fair weather ride for me. I live on the central coast in Ca and winter temps are usually in the mid 50's to high 60's. It's got to be getting tough now to choose your daily Vlog ride Lol 😆. Enjoy.
