There is nothing wrong with choosing a lifestyle that suits you as an individual. reading into these comments makes it clear that a lifestyle like this is threatening to the dominant people in our society who see every individual as a profit center to be exploited. It is not possible to do that if a person does not have a mortgage, rent, healthcare, insurance policies, utility bills, shopping addiction etc...

True. This low impact lifestyle here in the west out of a reasonably modernised van is STILL better than the shanty towns and slums of india bangladesh where they live in homes made out of cow dung.
This is really amazing man. I LOVE the design and functionality of your van, and would want to have something like that myself. Where'd you learn all the skills necessary to complete such a project (carpentry, plumbing, electronics, mechanics)? I think if I ended up trying to live out of a van I'd run into serious problems because I don't know shit about building or fixing things.
