    Magnificent!!!! Thank you for taking us along with you on that FANTASTIC hike....I really felt like I was walking along with you. But I also know that the camera does not capture the REAL BEAUTY that the eye can so it is 1000% better for you being there. Your are quite the camerawoman now...you have come a long way from your first few videos. Very grateful to you for sharing your life with us.

      We love that place. We would definitely go back there and hike it again.
      Thank you I'm trying to make the videos easy to watch. I've had some coaching from some really good camera men. 😁

    You guys are hilarious. Really enjoyed reading about geology of area and loved your hike. We spent a couple of weeks in NM during April, but stayed in the south of the state before heading back to Big Bend. Will definitely put this area on our next NM trip! Thanks for all your videos and campground views. Sure helps the rest of us make solid plans.

      😕 We don't have a drone yet. I'm not sure but I don't think a drone is allowed in park. 😏

    I had to go back and watch this again. I didn't want to miss anything. So beautiful and the view from the top was defiantly worth the effort. Would love to know how long it took to get back down or better yet how long round trip? The beauty in nature never ceases to amaze. Thanks again!!

    Absolutely amazing video! Reminds me of a hike in Death Valley I did decades ago. I bet you kept looking up as though you’re in New York! Enjoyed that, thank you. - Diana in uk

    If I could give 10 👍 I would. Thank you for taking us on this hike. I really thoroughly enjoyed it. How long did it take to climb it and what time do you venture out? What time was it by the time you reached back down?

      It took us 2 1/2 hours up. But we were filming and goofing off. We started out at 8:30 a.m. by the time we came back down it was like 11 or 11:30. Faster coming down than going up. 😀

    I got lost going to Bandelier. I followed my Garmin RV GPS (big mistake). It took me through Los Alamos, up and around an 8,000 ft+ high mountain with hairpin curves and deep dropoffs (scary), had me turn down a 3 mi long dirt road and out the west side of the park into a logging camp. I stopped on the dirt road and walked to where men were camped and they said I was in logging territory and had to turn around and go back the dirt road. Finally found Bandelier Natl Monument, but they don't have RV parking there and sent me to Juniper Campground. Found site #10, a pull through, which my 19ft trailer just fit into. It was late, getting dark and I didn't want to walk back in the dark to the kiosk to pay. The next morning a ranger stopped by and said I needed to go to the Monument and pay or I would be fined $100. Ouch! Unhitched and went to pay. Glad I did as I was able to hike the path past the cliff dwellings, along a small river through woods and it was a great visit. Live and learn. I never rely 100% on my GPS; always use my Google Maps on my phone as backup.

    When you have to turn of your generator during quiet hours. Does your refrigerator warm up very much? What about when you are driving down the road? Wondering because we may go all electric frig if our old 2 way goes out?

    • @NomadicRamblersAdventures
      @NomadicRamblersAdventures  5 років тому

      We actually have a video coming up in a few days. But our refrigerator does great. We turn the generator off at night. And when it's hot weather we run an extension cord from the generator through the window to run the fridge. Our generator sets in the back of our truck.

      Not there but 5 minutes away is the COE Cochiti Lake Campground. It's awesome too. I did a video on it a couple of days ago.
