Rosie you are still doing great, if the floor difference is less than 5mm, they used to put newspaper under the subfloor in the old days, if it is more you might have some sheets of thin wood under one side, it is very common for these old houses to have sinking floors, the correct way is to take it all up and correct the subframing for the floor which is a major overhaul!!! I am sure you will figure it out, as you have learned now, old houses are not square in anyway? It is always 2 steps forward and 1 step backward, just dont give up!

I dragged out my sewing machine just yesterday to hem 4 large panels of drapes I found at the Thrift store! I've been sewing for 51 years since I was 16 and I still dislike sewing... But there's something about a project completed like your adorable dress or my curtains hung that satisfies all the dreaded time & effort it required! Great job! Keep moving forward! Oh what a lovely vlog today! I love your designs, paired down, honest simplicity letting beautiful natural materials speak for themselves, your awesome kitchen counter/sink, the pretty dress, the lovely meal, your outdoor workstation, all of it. You're such a spirit doing all this alone in a foreign country too! It's clear you know how to appreciate the Swedish countryside, and now I'm exited to go look for blueberries too! I've been worrying there may not have been enough rain this summer for good crops (last summer wasn't a good one), I pick as much as I can and freeze for winter, so tasty and nutritious! You'll fimd loads of chantrelles in august and then porcini and other mushrooms to forage, the porcini here are fantastic and huge and make lovely fried vegan steaks, and dried will gove you soup and sauces to last untill next years season if you pick a bunch. You're videos are lovely, you're very accomplished! ❤️👍

Love your videos! Small tip, hope it's not too annoying: Sewing patterns are usually made, so you fold your fabric before cutting. Saves a lot of work and it's easier, as it's all supposed to be mirrored anyway. This way you won't get that seam down the front of your dress :) Unless of course you did this on purpose and prefer it this way, in which case just ignore me!

~ 🙂coffee grounds can be composted and make sure before you put those eggshells in the gardens they have been dried by the sun. If the shells are wet from yolk it will introduce a bacterium into the soil that will demolish your crop. ~
