At first glance, this song is simple in structure without even a lyrics. Delving further, even a non musician can recognise how complex it actually is. In fact this song is regarded as one of the most technical demanded especially to be performed live. Every notes must be precise in breath, volume and power. The control is insane throughout. And that ending is one of highly difficult technique in Bel Canto called messa di voce, where he must maintain a single pitch while changing the volume from quiet to louder then diminishing. The after effect of that is that you can still hear his voice ringing in your ears long after he stopped singing.

He works out and is a several degree black-belt in one or more of the martial art disciplines. Somebody once said, 'if something has to get done hire a busy man'. He does laps in the pool, does stretching and weight work not to bulk up but to max out his muscle to frame lifting. I imagine Dimash doesn't watch too much TV. At the end after the high notes, he comes to the end of the run and he keeps his mouth open as if he is saying I haven't stop my last and have not taken new air. You ought to try and see when he actually takes his last breath.
Actually, Dimash gave up martial arts as a teenager, as it was causing him "problems with internal organs" (no details were ever shared, so we can only imagine it was something interfering with his singing), but he is indeed a very fit man, as he understands singing to be whole-body sport, and loves to swim - especially underwater, for that *insane* breath control he has! But I love your "busy man" quote - and I mean, it's not really a surprise how rarely Dimash takes a breath in his songs, as I guess he simply doesn't have the time to, lol!

“Ave Maria” by conductor Igor Krutoy is a variation on the opening theme (not the introduction, but the singing part) of Schubert's melody adapted to Dimash's voice in order to explore only the three opening notes and changing the fourth note to a higher note: Like a leap from "dark to light" which is the same contrast as Dimash's outfit (dark to light)! Wonderful! Also reminiscent of the "Ave Maria" version of Russian V. Vavilov (Caccine)
