I have always thought that polynesian was the most beautiful music in the world; these songs just confirmed it. Graceful dancers, beautiful choreography, and voices from heaven. Thanks for the video
I believe the song is called Noatu Te Taime. I found another vid on here where Nonosina Hawaii sings it... both versions are amazing! I think the Nonosina Hawaii CD comes out 2009 and the song is on there (from what the info on the vid said). Can't wait for it to drop! Keep reppin' that Poly culture! =)
Hey There, Huge fan of your videos from sydney australia!! the polynesians out these ways would love to see a dance group of your calibre performing down here!!!! Keep it up! (",)
quando was mine, and I taught it to tamali'i which made it their style. I did Te tama ma'ohi which was inspired from the kikiriri boys, which was inspired from someone else. But I made it my own style. thanx dude for trying to explain to everyone. I DID NOT WRITE THIS SONG, AND KON TIKI NEVER DID EITHER! I LOVE KON TIKI!
Vahine in white are Tahitians from the tahitian Group HEI TAHITI with its director/kumu/choreographer Tiare Trompette (second from the left). They came specially from TAHITI for this show with their own dresses. that's all ;o)
wow. i wonder how they choose the main girls in white, and the single selected ones in front and back of them? but if anything. i loved it all! esp the music

Does anyone know the name of the first song? Great song!! Its one thing to have good dancers but when you have a group of singers and musicians that can back em' up and sound that awesome its amazing.. I love the raw pure sound of the polynesian voice. I know Nonosina has a CD out but does anyone know if they recorded that first song??
bunsoy16: I think you're referring to the song Te Tama Maohi? Actually I don't think Nonosina is the original composer of this song either, I think it's based on a pretty old Tahitian song. (so uh, maybe YOU are the one who needs to get things straight).
oh hell no, look at everyone tryna get nonosina shit! uh hello! tell your groupe to get ya own music and lyrics! oh and by the way.... nonosina is original okay! get it straight!
