Let us be reminded that the scriptures say we are to make a joyful noise unto the Lord. Not "in tune", not strong, not perfect. This is because God hears it all the same. He is not critiquing our praise--why should we do that to each other? God rejoices in the praise of His children. :) They are a church choir, not professional performers--extend some grace. They are praising God for his mighty acts and wondrous works, as the words to the song say. Thanks for sharing....continue to praise Him!
I remember learning this song in choir rehearsal and singing it that Sunday, with the Youth and Young adult choir. A special purpose to praise His greatness! Psalm 150

The International COGIC Mass Choir recorded this song 24 years ago. Mattie Moss Clark sang the reprise of the song & told everyone to yell Hallelujah very loud before she died.

LaKianna LaLa no all of it sounds strained. They are entirely tooo loud. Placement is not conducive to healthy. This rendition although it is their worship, it is not singing
@@neojazzgospel that’s what happens when you have a full choir then decide to have mic singers. They would’ve been better with just a full choir sound than have mic singers. Isn’t that what choirs are for? If it’s for a convention type of service then I under mic singers but if it’s just a regular church service than what’s the point of a choir if you can only really hear the mic singers. Never did like that. Made it seem like the choir was for background
Maybe it's because I'm a choir director but it seemed those in the individual mics should not have been in them. I heard them not the choir and I think that took away from the richness of the choir anthem sound this song calls for. Not to offend, just an opinion
Sometimes you should stray too far from what the song intended. While they sounded good for the most part, some of the members were confused of the words and some sang out of turn. By the end they were strained and tired. I truly do understand what he was trying to do as the director but some of it did not work out. You really have to be careful what you put out because the video picks up everything in it may sound better in person than it does on video I've experienced this as a choir director my self
for sure a selection that requires perfection - so many music directors want to put it out there before it's ready - stressing the choir...and people like us can hear everything that's missed...
It really is quite bad...lol. The close up of the lady who didnt know the words. lol But I love when people praise God, so carry on brothers and sisters!!!
Still listening in 2023, love this!

Agree. Not blended very well. Voices may have been strained.
