Expansion of binomial expressions using Pascal's triangle is the topic of this maths tutorial. Pascal's triangle method of expanding binomials makes use of a triangular array of numbers that can be used to expand (a+b)^3, (a+b)^4, (a+b)^5, (a+b)^6 and so on. These can be used to find Pascal's triangle formula that will be used to expand different binomial expressions.
A binomial expression was expanded using Pascal's triangle in this maths tutorial. Rather than using the binomial theorem, Pascal's triangle was used in this video to expand a binomial expression. This math tutorial answered questions such as how to do pascal's triangle, how to use Pascal's triangle and what is Pascal's triangle.
Pascal's triangle was drawn and an example of binomial expansion was worked out to explain Pascal's triangle. Pascal's triangle is triangular array that has a pattern. Each row on Pascal's triangle starts and ends with a 1. This video is applicable to alevel, grade11 and grade 12 learners.
