Nice shave Paul. The reason the Feather razor is so expensive is the name and the fact that people will spend that much for one. I have one that I have tried to give away to other wet shavers that didn't know who it was made by and no one wants it. One very good friend of mine looked at it, shook it and said "Why would I want that piece of crap"? Feather makes fine blades at a premium price. So they think they should charge a premium price for any thing that says Feather.
Beautiful flowers, thank you Mrs. H. I had a wonderful shave this morning. I used a 1967 Gillette slim with a Nacet blade, second use. Soap and aftershave was Tabac-incredible scent lathered with a boar brush. It was an incredible shave! Thank you Mr. Paul!
In Canada - where sometimes you find a mix of British and American English, it’s generally a face cloth. For us flannel is a material - flannel shirt or sheets.
Good shave Paul. My shave of the day: Yaqi The Final Cut adjustable safety razor, RK DE Blade (3nd use), Razorock 400 Plissoft shaving brush, Morning Ritual shave soap by MacDuffs, 3 passes and a few pick-ups, (Setting 6 - 5 - 4) Thayers Rose Petal witch hazel, Stirling Piacenza After Shave splash, Finished it off with Nivea After shave balm.
Hey Paul great Sunday shave. Love the products. During the warmer days I love using citrus scent and coconut scents. I hope you and Mrs. H enjoy your banked holiday. Take care
I was just thinking about that. I’m currently using a really nice pine scented soap and splash I got for Christmas. My wife says i should get a nice summer scent. Coconut sounds great.
Might need a tropical island shave soon! Maybe a trip to Hawaii or Tahiti is the future and more tropical island shaves and foods...just an idea. Thanks sharing how you feel on this razor...love the blades, my favorite blade! Hope Mrs. H and you enjoy the long weekend, thanks as always. Lovely plant to move the garden and keep it blooming! Enjoyed this shave as I do, must see TV...
Fab shave Paul 💈I love coconut scent 😊 Hope you enjoyed your Mackrel. Today did beef tikka masala in the slow cooker. It was a Schwartz seasoning pack. Really nice but you'd have to chuck a load of chillies in as theres no heat 😂 Gorgeous display Mrs H 🪴 Hope you've both enjoyed the bank holiday weekend 💈🪴💈
Very nice arrangement this morning mrs h. I love it. And nice shave. The only thing you had that i personally had knowledge of usi g is the fine brush. I have that too and love it. Great little brush. The rest of it was nice as well. My own sotd was my rockwell 6c with a derby blade. I used Tobs almond soap, and finished up with aqua velva. A bit of a mash up. Have a great week
Nice go at it Paul🪒🪒 Wonderful flowers as usual, thanks Mrs H. Wow, expensive for a plastic razor, Gillette need not worry😉 Coconut, warm, fresh, sweet...nice. SOTD: B&M "Taiga" soap/splash, PAA "DOC" SS razor w/Gillette Silver Blue blade, RazoRock "BC" synth brush, alum, witch hazel and AV 5in1 balm to end...exquisite. Enjoy the sea fare and the week ahead.
Gorgeous flowers by Mrs. H. Great shaving video, i have that razor as well, yeah when i received i was also like HUH what?? but it ´s good though, Ooooh sounds great your Sunday dinner , stay safe, cheers...Peter
Your Sunday waffling is always entertaining. A very close shave with a cheap expensive adjustable safety razor 😉Novelty does come at a price. The bottom line is would you buy that DE razor again knowing what you know now? Enjoy your Sunday outing with the flower maestro-ette.
here in the us u can call them hand towal or wash cloth! and like kensurfs always tell us becairful with father blade it can give u surgery lol the sharpest blade on market
You prompted me to read up on the history of British Bank Holidays: Ancient (e.g., Beltane or May Day) & nothing to do with banks! Bank holidays in US mean big troubles!!
Completly Sam. This feather adjustable razor at £40 is a stupid thing. Such razor should cost no more than 25 quid. It's one of those stupid things we can't understand. I bought an R89 for 32 quid and a Rockwell 6c for 42. Isn't it crazy?
Feeling ripped off angers me. Don't use feather. Too expensive. Sotd was the Muhle Rocca with a first use Personna Comfort Coat. Stirling Bay Rum. Thayers Lavender witch hazel. Parfums de Marley Herrod. Have a nice day all.

Many thanks, and no I would not buy it again, it works and shaves fine, but is over priced for me.
Beautiful flowers, thank you Mrs. H.

Hi Paul Those Feather adjustable DE razors are selling for $40.00 in the States.
Hey Paul great Sunday shave.

Nice scents aren't they, all the best 🙂
Bringing out your Feather DE has given me idea for tomorrow's shave with my Feather Black SS Straight Razor
Nice shave. I love coconut scent also. PAA has Coconut Oud which is great. I will have to try Geo F Trumper some time. Enjoy your holiday. 👍🐟

Splendid Sunday Paul 🎉
Nice shave Paul. the price for that razor is a pittance compared to the cash grab that Fine made with their "worlds finest razor"
Nice one Mrs H, with the Flowers
Love that music intro,

Thank you, the razor shaves well enough, but I would not buy it knowing what I know now, as it is overpriced in my opinion. All the best 🙂

MORNING SIR,
LOVELY LOOKING THUMBNAIL
Yes Paul, they must have charged you a premium because of your celebrity status 😅. Enjoy your Sunday!
Lol...made me laugh that, thank you 🙂
Does the blade jiggle a ton in that razor?
No thankfully, it shaves well, but it just feels cheap for what it costs.
It’s largely made from ABS, which is what Lego is made from. It’ll last alright
You prompted me to read up on the history of British Bank Holidays: Ancient (e.g., Beltane or May Day) & nothing to do with banks! Bank holidays in US mean big troubles!!
No, you didn’t mention the onions yet; probably because you have mentioned the cost so many times you forgot about the onions till now. 😜

In Germany this Razor isnt that expansive 20/23€

Yes you have a Jersey too...lol
I get irritated also with that razor

Hi Paul. Feather shavettes, safety razors and blades are overpriced.
