The other family is not her problem - revenge by telling the other woman- would show she is no better - so she thought with her head and not emotions by not telling the other woman's husband - maybe the other woman's husband knows and do not care - so best not to impose your standards on someone else it could just backfire. No one cares so care about yiur situation. No one is perfect - women and men are on different planets. Women expect too much, hence then get disappointed always. Nothing is forever. The coffee always goes cold.You can re-heat it but it's not the same freshly brewed. Despite the separation, she chose 👪 family,so her daughter has both parents. She put her child first.

I second what 1 commentor said you cannot keep someone who doesn't want to be kept. From the outset of it he apparently isnt interested in the marriage if he was he would want to put some effort into keeping his family together.

I am sorry when a man is significantly older than a woman. It tells you something about his maturity. Are we surprised that he acted immature because he had to reach back that far to find somebody who would deal with him? He could not intellectually or emotionally deal with the woman closer to his age because she would’ve required more of him.
