Xbox Series X Teardown And HDMI Port Replacement With Damaged Contact Repair

In this video we will tear down an Xbox Series X, replace the HDMI port, and add a jumper wire to the damaged pad. This console had severe damage to the port and the area where it was installed. One of the traces for the HDMI signal was completely torn off of the motherboard so we had to rebuild it. For anyone who has not had a lot of experience with game console repair, you have to be very careful not to pull the port off until All of the solder points have melted. Otherwise you can end up with one or more pads torn off of the board.
