After 20 years we will not be paying any loan, school fees, saving for children marriage or higher education, no hi fi gadgets, expensive designer dresses etc ....main expenses other than medical will be zero. U eat weekly once, maybe daily for some. 10 years later u may not know what comforts u will get more accustomed. So better assume expenses as of today may be30% more + adjust to inflation. Many old people are left unattended nowadays as kids leave them of to fend for themselves. Also many kids have migrated to US, dubai etc, leaving thier parents stranded here alone. If u have money u can have a care taker and neighbours willing to help. The scenario is very bad if u don't have money boss

I started my investment journey 20 yrs back. 40% in stocks. 50% Real estate and 10% gold. With great humbleness I say my portfolio is 12 cr plus. And it increased from 7 to 12 just in the last 4 years - because of the long runway it had. In 16 yrs it was from 0 -7 and in last 4 yrs it went from 7 -12. Thats why we need invest early.

Many old people are left unattended nowadays as kids leave them of to fend for themselves. Also many kids have migrated to US, dubai etc, leaving thier parents stranded here alone. If u have money u can have a care taker and neighbours willing to help.

IT employee earning 1.5L per month he goes to Starbucks coffee and pays 2000₹ and he forgets the money he spent on coffee. For him ₹2000 is his tiffin coffee money he can buy share and forget.
Instead think an auto driver who makes say 1000 ₹ per day, had some coffee vada at ₹40. This is the money he can invest in shares and forget thinking he had spent like in coffee. Not thinking of returns or anything.
