Praise the Lord sister !!! My name is Lakshmi Gayathri. I was also born and brought up in a Hindu community. I was one of those deadly believers of Hindu idols. My schooling was done in a missionary school. I used to sing with them, have the faith of a sand grain within me while I worshipped the idols in parallel. And when the time has come , one day my father got expired on his self attempt due to number of reasons. It was that time when we were thrown on road alone seeking help to live but miraculously, one of my friend's mother guided us to prayers. We trusted Abba Father then. Being a family who worshipped Durga idol mainly and all other idols, it was really troublesome to align ourselves to Christ. But we made it. We live for Christ exclusively. Everybody left us, spit on us for being out of Hindu community but we are living closer to God enjoying the power and sweetness of salvation. I now proudly say that no human can grant me such a blessed and true life. My expired father also couldn't have made it to see me this happy in life. My happiness is within Christ. Its not easy to just explain and tell non believer that Jesus is our saviour son of heavenly father who sacrifice for our sin..The bible only teach to love one another and be good to everyone and love your enemies as well but never speak to take revenge or kill some one who is not good to you or treat badly..but to forgive them..and give a peace inside them. our Christian religion do not preach anything's against anyone or non believer.. only to love and create a peace for every human being no matter which color or background we came from...in the eyes of the lord we all are same.. I am born in a roman catholic family. i personally encountered Jesus on May 11, 1977 I have had several experiences living in Hyderabad, India, right now live in Kerala.
