As ‘buy now, pay later’ plans grow, so do delinquencies

Americans spent $24.2 billion with the buy-now, pay-later services in 2021, up from $2 billion in 2019, according to a new report. However, the delinquency rate for the services rose to 2.39 percent in 2021 from 1.83 percent in 2020.
