This is actually one of my favorite speaker in many aspect. Hardware configuration is superb, SQ is very good for a 360° speaker, but not the default tuning, it's actually tuned for vocal and pop music.
Will the custom eq be saved once I tweak it? Or it will change back to the normal one? For example: if I tune the stormbox pro with my phone, will the sound remain the same when I connect to my laptop or it will change back to its default tuning? Also, I'm thinking about buying the stormbox pro or the motion+, which one do u prefer?
Good day, for the Stormbox Pro, you will be Equalizing the source, means either your phone or laptop, there is no modification on the speaker itself, on the Motion+, whenever you adjusted the Soundcore EQ, it will be saved and remembered by the speaker. If only Tribit tuned this to be as great as you tuned it in Bass Boost mode it would be a killer in 360° Speakers

How we set bass boost eq setting
There isn’t any eq in it. Your phone should do the buikt-in eq.
