The vinyl is so easily scuffed and gets dirty easy. I got tired of cleaning the scuff marks off and took a rug and cut it to size and laid it down. Now I can easily vacuum it or shake it off outside. I bring my dog so I wanted to protect the floor as much as possible from the dirt she tracks in and her nails.
That’s a good idea. In a previous video about the 4200 mile shakedown I cut the foam tiles people use with home gyms to fit. Makes floor seem warmer in winter but also protects from ski boots. Not so great in summer because it traps sand and moisture. I will need to take a look at some carpet options.
I just passed the 6 month ownership period and I noticed that I don't have any radio any more? Also I was reading that the major vehicle
manufacturers are selling your vehicle information to the insurance companies etc.? Is this true?
Oh no! I wonder what’s up with the radio. Hopefully your Ford Dealership is easy to work with. I wouldn’t be surprised if they sold your info. Seems like every car I ever buy they send me some convincing extended warranties or extra insurance stuff. They seem to know a lot about the vehicle.
I was able to trouble shoot the radio issue which I got back but no more serius radio as the subscription apparently ended. I was wondering if you find it better to drive with the rear bed in the down position as it allows for better viewing of the rear traffic conditions?
@junglehomes6525 at first I thought it was better to leave it in bed form all the time. Now I think I like it better with seats up for day use and just make the bed every night. Looking at digital rear view mirrors for visibility. Might get one in the near future.
