I love the fact that literally all the other MCCers are also just huge huge fan girls/boys. They understand us! (Tubbo though. He’s just like us.)

No I didn't actually xd, but it's funny because he said people just have stereotypical thoughts that he would never change his skin but he actually would if he had a reason to. Like MCC is a thing where you change your skin and Scott asked: "wait so if we asked you to do it, would you??"

Side effect of him treating youtube like a hobby. He has a normal job and life outside of youtube and doesn't rely on it as a main job like everybody else that came up with him or came after him
He's conscious of his influence on minecraft generally. Especially when the hopper clock is literally named after him. However, the cult following and mystique around him he is very much detached from. Since he doesn't interact with these spaces that often. He very much plays the game in a bubble
normal life yes but UA-cam is his full time job now, he used to do seasonal yard work I think. But yea he stays pretty un-engaged from the fandom!

I'd wager 90% of those in that MCC either think of him as an inspiration, or even the reason they started playing or even the reason they became a minecraft content creator.
Dont know about the players, but I can say he's the reason why I watch minecraft videos on YT. If I didn't know who etho was, I don't think I would had ever cared about MCC at all. He's the pioneer to minecraft.

Tubbo utterly freaking out is so fun. Seriously though I cannot explain the pure joy Etho's channel gives me. I'm not even one of the OGs!!! I only started watching him partway through Hermitcraft season 7!!!! But I've gone back and watched his whole LP and I just... there are no words to express the wholly unique feeling of joy and peace and inspiration I get from his videos. I may be far from my days as a true "fangirl" as I've grown older, but I guess Etho gets to be my little piece of starstruck brainrot that sticks around. I just... I can't explain it. People joke and say "comfort streamer" and stuff, but genuinely his videos do have such a comfort to them. Anyways.... love this

No, I also don’t watch any of his stuff, although at this point it’s on purpose
ethos basically one of the original minecraft youtubers who reinvented how we play minecraft today. he invented multiple different redstone techniques that are still used today, the most well known being the etho hopper clock, but he’s made many other stuff, like mob sorters, fast boat traveling, the first blaze farms, piston translocation, ect, ect. he’s most popular for his let’s play series, which has been going on for YEARS, and the fact he still is relatively the same as he was back in the day; never changing his thumbnails, same humor, and the same skin he’s never changed once. he’s basically your favorite minecraft youtubers favorite minecraft youtuber, highly recommend checking him out. mojang back in the day also renamed a block after him for an april fool’s update (etho’s slab). he’s also semi active on hermitcraft (which despite being full of people who are super talented at minecraft and people who’ve also reinvented the game, most of them still kind of fangirl over etho lol) so you can watch his episodes there.
