    The last part from 4:17 is some of the most wonderful thing I have ever heard in music ever, period! Universal and timeless

    So many stop/start and timing changes in this piece, absolutely fantastic. R.I.P. Dave. Your demise is a great loss to us all.

    Torn by travel, toil and treason
    Tied by fraying lines
    Devil drowning voice of reason
    Dire decaying mind
    Mending miles with threads of measure
    Letting loose all lies
    Unraveling lines of pain and pleasure
    A life of death defied
    Swollen hands laid down like the light of hope
    Falls in fragments from self-dealt fatal blows
    And burns our eyes with bold bursts of fires known
    Yet sewn so tight to us we can't let go
    'Round unholy chasms and up hollow hills
    We steady our horsepower and summon our will
    To embrace what's behind what is seen and is haunting us still
    What was one has become individual parts
    Devoid of the source where this ritual starts
    With our wills overthrown at the whim of habitual hearts
    One day no sordid soul will shout it's purpose
    Corralling lost accomplices around
    When thunder voices cease to shower us with locust
    Will you be ready to recieve the underground?
    Shape-shifting morality rise and decline
    A tic-tocking time bomb hard wired to the mind
    We pursue what's perceived as a short cut to achieve the sublime
    One day no sordid soul will shout it's purpose
    Corralling lost accomplices around
    When thunder voices cease to shower us with locust
    Will you be ready to recieve the underground?

    I've never seen a cello with frets before. Anyone know what type it is?

    • @eddominates
      @eddominates 6 років тому +8

      its fretless, those are just stickers to help you visually judge where the notes are. mostly for beginners, but if you switch between cello and bass like she does, the smaller scale can throw you off and the note markers really help

    What does his pedal setup look like?!?!

    • @coconut7077
      @coconut7077 6 років тому +2

      Josh Mahoney when I had the pleasure to see them live he had his kick drum on his right foot and a cow bell and cymbols clasping beside eachother on his left.

      coconut7077 I think he was asking about guitar pedals, not percussion ones.

    • @williamheublein7151
      @williamheublein7151 6 років тому

      Hard to see exactly, but the green pedal is likely a 3-knob Ibanez TS9 Tube Screamer Overdrive Pedal

    • @lambtube
      @lambtube 6 років тому +5

      Correct Josh. I will never understand how he sang, played and did percussion with each foot. Dave's Dad here.
