- Special thanks to Jeff Surette for providing this show, which was also the last Candlepin Challenge show to air on CN8 before the show would move over to Comcast Sportsnet for the remainder of the 2008-2009 season.
The challenger's match of this particular telecast featured Glenn Gill taking on Skip Easterbrooks, with the winner of that match having to take on red hot Jeff Surette in the Championship match, with Jeff looking to make it five straight wins in a row at the end of this one.
Lots of INCREDIBLE shots in this one along with some CRAZY breaks that stunned me when I watched this. Hope you all enjoy and R.I.P. Dan Murphy 1948 - 2022.
I hope you continue the uploads with the Comcast episodes.
I attended a taping of Bay State Bowling where I met Dan Murphy. He won the challenger round but bowled abysmally in the championship match. I was chosen as the scorekeeper for the bowlers. When Dan finished, he leaned in toward me and said, “I hope that wasn’t too difficult for you to add up.”

This looks so much fun, but I know I'll be complete doo-doo at it.
