What is the ball speed for these high level players? I enjoy watching these matches, But I don't know this type of bowling very well (it's not available where I live).
Not a bad thing. I felt he went out of his way to make everyone feel at ease and tries to keep focus on the game ahead, and what everyone will bring to it.
I was 23 at the time, and was ending my 5th year in adult leagues. I had bowled in the juniot leagues years prior, but I had not really bowled the 5 years prior to joining the adult leagues. This was either my first or second year averaging over 120, and that was only because the house I was bowling out of had just replaced the side walls, and replaced the cushion back wall with properly distanced curtians. Brattleboro was a tough house, high triple in there was a 458.
Thanks again for all you do
I put this on to watch. My wife sees it and say "Oh yeah, they have those tiny little balls."
😂😂🤣🤣🤣
Thank you Wolfman, and thanks also to the Olszta family for providing this match ! :)
Observation: Olszta slowed his ball down considerably in 90-91 and here, a year later, he was throwing a super fast ball again.

@@blockcl pros in those days threw between 30 and 50 mph.
@blockcl the fastest throwers I've seen are Joe Ashline and Lou Alberghini.
Ever notice how when Don says "Let's talk to today's bowlers" he always does 95% of the talking.

He is a lousy announcer. Talks too much, and is Captain Obvious
I knew Tom would win ahahahah.
A little surprised Tim's avg is 122 and only has a high of 175.
I'd give anything for a 122 average and a high triple of 375!
@@karlschneider9479 I avg 110 and my high is 175 and triple is 402. Which is why I'm surprised his is 175.

@@OldDekrepitKegler I figured maybe there weren't many years behind it. That's usually the case
Did Tommy ever make the high-low jackpot? I don't think he ever did?
I've only seen that made once and you may be right I can't recall ever seeing him hit that.
