The Beat Maker owns half the song. On the Song Title Registrations with the PROs (Performing Rights Organizations) The Beat Maker would own the music (50%) and the Singer/Rapper/Lyricist owns the lyrics (50%)

Honestly! It's just not that hard to learn how to make your own beats .....FOR FREE. You will have to know how sooner or later anyway. So just do it from the start.
