Thank you boss house. I feel you. My income is never going to be in a certain bracket unless I move on from custodian work. It’s a lower paying job. I like what I do so my income will always be at a certain threshold.

I was wondering why you stop posting. Don’t give up though. Keep posting. That’s what they want us to do. They don’t have the nerve to post so they want to talk crap behind the computer. I see that people will talk crap all day long behind this internet but would never have the guts to stay stuff like they do in real life. I’m doing this for accountability and as a hobby. So if all my subbies went away I would still be doing it. I appreciate the support but I do realize everybody not going to agree with every move I make. I do hope you start posting again. Do it for yourself. Yes! These hot flashes aren’t no joke. Matter of fact I’ve had them in the middle of the day and I feel bad when I have them sometimes. I had them in the middle of the day at Walmart on Friday. I had to basically go in the bathroom and stop myself. It only lasted a few mins but I was uncomfortable.

I enjoy the other videos, but I would like something more realistic to my lifestyle. There's no way with $12/hrs with a child is gonna give me all the benefits as MOST of these YTers. Plus, rent is going up to over $1000/month. I need more realistic.
I’m on social security and a small pension and it works out to be about $15-16 per hour depending on the month. Worse in longer months! I’m so glad to see someone budgeting in my income range. For sure nervous about the future.

The fact that you have trolls in here when you’re sharing personal finance is ridiculous but f them. I enjoy your hauls and the gifts ppl get you and Ashton. Hello! When I first came across your last video I said finally someone with a budget like mined & I subscribe then. I work as a cna & I make just a little more then you 16.40 which is still not enough personally, I just started a part time job to give myself a little wiggle room.
I love you budgeting videos but I love them all in general! Our rent went up $70 this year with our lease renewal :/ we live in a 3 bedroom "manufactured home" its a trailer lol but my cousin insists on the fancy name. I'm surviving on a small fixed income of less then $1,200 a month and it's me and my dad who gets disability. I know the struggles! Our car is a kia that needs the breaks fixed and is missing two of it's door handles haha! I'm working on getting it fixed.
Thank you! I love manufactured homes. I am considering buying one in the next year and a half. If you know someone that can do the breaks for you like a mobile mechanic you can get them done cheaper by buying your breaks from advanced auto or o rally’s. He him just charge you labor. Also my door handle broke off and I ordered a replacement from Amazon. I had my mobile mechanic put it on for me and still going strong after a year of being on.
@@DiaryofaSingleMom-ov7xf yeah we're getting the parts we're going to purchase the parts and then my dad and brother and brother-in-law will be doing the work so it saves US money in the long run we've had to pay to have it done a couple times because of our disabilities sometimes it just doesn't work out for us to do it ourselves but the plan is we're going to do it whenever my sister comes down to visit so it's going to be a big money saver.
Yes ma’am. Lol I have very little energy to do nothing else😂I do something each day to try to maintain my house doing the weekend. I don’t like spending all weekend tending to clothes or housework. So I do mini power cleans during the week.

If I may express my own thoughts and feelings- If the people that continue to worry about what others think- as the creator of your You tube channel and waste 15 minutes or more of the channel about what others are saying- That time is being taken away from the adults that are here for the real purpose of learning. We cant control what others think and or say. I refuse to waste negative energy- on Trolls that have nothing better to do that cut someone like Emily that is truly making a difference for herself and her daughter. Everyone has a story to tell- and others might not like. If we can stay focused on what the channel is intended for and not take time away from the topic that is to be present to faithful viewers.- that would be great- otherwise- I have learned to move on. I finally save my 1k emergency fund but honestly it took me a year and a half to save it.. I have credit card debt too and I have paid two small cards off already and snowballing as we speak…. I don’t cash stuff I just keep a buffer in my checking acct.. and I just add something monthly to my emergency fund and I do this by doing a challenge….. I have my ef in a high yield acct but I do checking at a local credit union.. .. I write everything down I spend in a 3 - ring binder using budget sheets ..
Awesome video Emily. Everyone is struggling in this economy whether they admit it or not. I drive a 2007 Pontiac Vibe and it has a lot of miles on it (227,??? ). I need two new tires and how about the a/c has gone out in the car. Any errands that I have to run, I do it early in the morning. I’m going to find someone that can do a free a/c check for me next week. I definitely agree with you about having boundaries especially on UA-cam. Take care 🙂

Hey Emily for your renter's insurance look into paying a yearly amount instead of monthly. It's cheaper. Mine was $160 this yr..$20 a month gets you to $240 see if the annual would be cheaper than that. Or maybe just get a different renter's ins outside of Geico.
Also go to the library and see if they have that book called The Complete tightwad Gazette by Amy Dacyczyn (pronounced decision). Excellent book on frugality.

I have my own channel too and I realize I am not everyone’s “cup of tea” either. I totally ignore and block the negativity out. I focus on the positivity and I really do not talk about my personal life much. I do talk about cash stuffing and budgeting. I’m not rich either. Like many individuals I’ve been working my whole life, full time. It’s not easy but budgeting helps me reach specific financial goals. I totally understand what you’re saying. Just some information there are people who are professional trolls it is what they do I don’t underestimate the psychology of it but just block them and never mention them they like the attention 🙏🏾
I worked for the state as well , another state, but if you got a raise, you didn’t see it until the next month. So if you got a raise in July, you wouldn’t see it till your August check.
I don’t talk about my kids dads on my channel or finances with kids, I don’t talk about my kids too much, I don’t talk about business or taxes. I also budget for personal bills (stuff I don’t wanna say what it’s for) I always feel like I’m explaining myself. Boundaries are good my friend people are @ssholes I also got judged heavy for my happy mail. No one deserves the hate we get! I’m not asking for money and I only had a wish list for people who asked for it.
Im confused by comp time. You're not making overtime for anything above 40hrs? Or you're making overtime and then on top of that you're getting comp time?

I been watching you for months now. I love your budget videos. I am literally your twin in life’s we have very similar life stories, mom of 2. Single household and on government assistance. Pay no one attention that is negative, life is hard. I have worked since I was 16, stopped but started right back up a few days before my 18th birthday. We do everything we can to make a life for ourselves and our children: you are doing excellent. No need to explain things the way you are. You explain only what u want. I will continue to watch. I don’t want to listen to u explain yourself to people who don’t know u. I appreciate what u share. I watch what I enjoy on your channel. I've been watching your videos for a long time and love them because they are soothing somehow and also help me stay motivated to keep working on my budget. I have a high income but things are tight after supporting a my adult child with special needs who has waited several years as an adult for services. So that 10 or 20 dollars can make or break the budget for us too. I always try to like all your videos to help promote them
Great Work on your CCs -- I used the same method "snowballing" and it works!! Usually if you are having your check auto deposited into your checking account the bank will waive the monthly fee -- with all the changes that are happening in the banking sector, you might ask your bank about it not charging the fee ... even if you have asked them before. I found your video inspiring -- Thank you for sharing.
I’m sure you’ve gotten this comment/advice before, but have you looked into FSA/HSA with your employer to pay for your daughters braces. It’s how I paid for mine years ago. It’s still your own money, just tax free.
Geico provides excellent coverage. AAA also provides excellent coverage and is usually a portion of the cost. You could likely bundle in the renter’s insurance with the auto insurance.

Hey Emily for your renter's insurance look into paying a yearly amount instead of monthly. It's cheaper. Mine was $160 this yr..$20 a month gets you to $240 see if the annual would be cheaper than that. Or maybe just get a different renter's ins outside of Geico.

I have my own channel too and I realize I am not everyone’s “cup of tea” either. I totally ignore and block the negativity out. I focus on the positivity and I really do not talk about my personal life much. I do talk about cash stuffing and budgeting. I’m not rich either. Like many individuals I’ve been working my whole life, full time. It’s not easy but budgeting helps me reach specific financial goals. I totally understand what you’re saying. I worked for the state as well , another state, but if you got a raise, you didn’t see it until the next month. So if you got a raise in July, you wouldn’t see it till your August check.

I been watching you for months now. I love your budget videos. I am literally your twin in life’s we have very similar life stories, mom of 2. Single household and on government assistance. Pay no one attention that is negative, life is hard. I have worked since I was 16, stopped but started right back up a few days before my 18th birthday. We do everything we can to make a life for ourselves and our children: you are doing excellent. No need to explain things the way you are. You explain only what u want. I will continue to watch. I've been watching your videos for a long time and love them because they are soothing somehow and also help me stay motivated to keep working on my budget. I have a high income but things are tight after supporting a my adult child with special needs who has waited several years as an adult for services. So that 10 or 20 dollars can make or break the budget for us too. I always try to like all your videos to help promote them
Great Work on your CCs -- I used the same method "snowballing" and it works!! Usually if you are having your check auto deposited into your checking account the bank will waive the monthly fee -- with all the changes that are happening in the banking sector, you might ask your bank about it not charging the fee ... even if you have asked them before. I’m sure you’ve gotten this comment/advice before, but have you looked into FSA/HSA with your employer to pay for your daughters braces. It’s how I paid for mine years ago. It’s still your own money, just tax free.
Geico provides excellent coverage. AAA also provides excellent coverage and is usually a portion of the cost. You could likely bundle in the renter’s insurance with the auto insurance.
