  • Their always wanted to stay small as a studio yet dreamt of making large and dense Open Worlds. This was only possible through massive improvements in the efficiency of their artists. This obsession pushed them into a difficult, multi-year project of developing a revolutionary set of tools, which leverage procedural generation, yet allow artists to maintain full control of the results. In this talk, we will discuss the development of Errant Worlds - a set of plugins for Unreal Engine which make sculpting vast landscapes, covering them in nature, and setting up road networks a breeze.
