  • I had the awesome opportunity to ride with pro rider Quinn Wentzel while I was in Muenster, TX for the Grimpossible Challenge. I was blown away by his amazing skills on the bike! Here are some of the obstacles we went and rode after the event. If you'd like to check him out online, I've left a link to his instagram page below.
    In this video I'm riding a 2018 Husqvarna TE 250. I hope you enjoy the video and thanks for watching!
    PS: I have also created a blooper reel from these couple of days. It is available on my Patreon page. The link is below.

    Great video! Love riding at Red River when I can (about 2 hrs away). It's already pushing the 80's in the afternoons. Soon it will be hitting high 90's and cracking 100. Red River will be brutal. Our riding slows way down. Up early and done by noon and its still hot. You came at the right time. I'm a little closer to another spot that is pretty cool (technical and rocky). Dude from Ohio has great talent and makes it look pretty easy. I defiantly need to work on balance and moving back to weight the rear for more traction when stuck in technical situations where I just get wheel spin. Also, going to play with PV spring set up to make my bike a little smoother.

    Megs, I can see trials in your future, handle that 250 incredibly! But, look how small that bike is under him, can't imagine how much easier it would be if you had a 3/4 size (and weight) bike under you. I'm sure you would ride circles around him, and Graham Jarvis would have to watch his back. Thanks for sharing ☺

      @megs_braap  6 років тому +1

      frank mcgachy Thank you Frank! I really appreciate that! I’ve definitely had to put in a lot of work to get to the level I’m at now, but I certainly have a long ways to go. I’ll keep at it and hopefully get my hands on a trials bike one day.

  • @westwing23

    Hey megs, ever thought about riding a 150cc? Just mod the hell of the power and just use that for technical trails. I've seen 150s smoke out 250cc plus bikes when it comes to tight trails way too many times. Then use your 250 or more for big open spaces.

    That's gotta be a challenge being on a bike sprung for 170ish when your a buck and a quarter. Amazing how you handle a bike soo tall also. What are you in height? Bout 5'5"- 5'7"??

    More and more I see the best extreme Enduro riders come from a Trials background. Have you ever considered trying Trials riding to improve your skills?

  • @jbraz8
    @jbraz8 6 років тому

    Hey Miss Griffiths, have you ever considered a lowering link or lowering your bike at all? I'm a little taller than you and ride the same bike and was curious. So definitely expensive when you have the air Forks unfortunately though. Just curious your thoughts if any.
    Cheers

    • @megs_braap
      @megs_braap  6 років тому +1

      Jamie Brasnyo Hey Jaime,
      I wouldn’t go the lowering link route because it changes the way the bike handles too much. I have had it done professionally in the suspension on my two stroke. I had it lowered half an inch. Unfortunately, the loss ground clearance is very noticeable. It’s definitely nice sometimes to have that extra half inch for my short legs but I think the cons out weigh the pros. I won’t be lowering my FX 350.

      Megan Griffiths Enduro thanks for the Insight I appreciate it. When you see all the Aussies riding it looks like they're riding 50s for crying out loud. More practice I guess. Thanks for taking the time to respond to us. :)
