Nice video guys. What a cracking idea it would be to make a sheeps wool wad. if only. Many a sheep farmer would benefit along with the shooting world. The price per fleece these days is next to nothing. it would be a win win all round.
A good video and nice to hear that Eley are working on the cost of cartridges for those of us who are predominately pigeon shooters but it would be nice to have some thoughts on the future of the 410. I’ve heard fantastic reports from those who’ve shot tss through them.
A great insight into lead and plastic free shooting. Maybe You could get a visit to the R & D department when they are trying out a selection of wadding materials? As usual the tips on conditions and wind direction making a big difference on bag numbers 👍🏻
Used steel on pigeons and rabbits for a few years now with good results from three different guns. No problems for me apart from as you stated the plastic wad. It's important to pattern and experiment, but my view is there really is no difference.

What’s going to happen with the humble hushpower 410 that’s got full choke??
Very knowledgeable Geoff, cartridges are far too expensive!
Good watch chaps.Problem with steel is on the high bird shoots.
Are eley going to bring out a 410 load in steel.
Are you going to make a .410 cartridge in steel .?
Or will the .410 cal die .without lead
My local eley dealer are charging €16.50 a box for eley steel. Cop yourselves on lads no one can afford that

Thanks Geoff for showing even you have triple misses sometimes!!!!
Steel carts , what happens to all these old sbs that some people have used for years that are not steel proofed ? Will be worth less
With an older gun is steel shot going to cause erosion of the barrel/s?
Thanks, Geoff for taking us along. I Enjoy your wisdom.

Mr.Geoff which choke was used
Because of the white wear on the barrel shotcam on your Browning a tacs au shotgun?
Steel shot going damaged the barrel in the long run
Umm? Could someone please explain the difference between a steel game load and a steel pigeon load apart from the information printed on the shell?
Hello, would a cardboard type of cup work in the steel shot instead of the plastic or eko plastic?
steel shot on pigeons is a waste of money, to expensive for pest control unless you get them for free.
You need to stop wearing your keys round your neck, all the jangling is annoying after a while
