Hey Plapper! Nah I won't get those amount of videos dude - the numbers will be a lot lower but that doesn't matter, at all! Only thing that matters is that I can give you songs to listen or play along to, and use them as learning tools, that's what matters, not numbers!
I started out with not being able to play even the most basic songs, but I found that finding fun songs I can play (for example Zombie by the Cranberries, Nothing Else Matters by Metallica, Roxanne by the Police, Hold The Line by Toto, Comfortably Numb and Shine On You Crazy Diamond by Pink Floyd) helped me a lot in not giving up. It's just fun to groove along, even on songs with basic bass notes. Even if it's (maybe) not challenging, you're still training and practicing timing, hand/eye coordination, muscle memory, dexterity and confidence.
It was never (and still isn't) a goal of mine to be like Les Claypool, Victor Wooten or John Myung - or even in the UA-cam space, to be like Charles Berthoud or Davie504 - all of those people being fantastic and skilled players. I just play to have fun and share the songs and bass love. Sorry for the rant haha, but focus on the joy, not on the result!
