2Pac was a "pure" poet, in the vein of Langston Hughes and Myah Angelou, and an activist from the womb!! 2Pac gets the win for lyrical content and social impact. Biggie was a word smith, with the greatest flow in hip hop history!! Biggie's flow made shit that should NOT have rhymed AT ALL, rhyme seamlessly!!! They played different positions in the game...but for me, just looking at them both from a technically based skill set perspective, it comes down to flow and rhyme schemes for me.. When I look at it like THAT?? It's BIG all day for me.. (I'm from Brooklyn though so I might be biased.. lol)
Pac was in the game longer than Big. Big was around for only 2 albums. He showed growth on his 2nd album. But unfortunately, his life cut short before he could fully reach his potential. IMO. I can only imagine with age and wisdom what BIG would've given us.
They were never in a studio together, same as Em and Tupac. And as your question, Biggie rapped better (flow and voice I think) but lyrically Tupac had more insight on what was going on within the community because his mom was a Black Panther and had more Emotion filled songs, which is why his music is eternal. Also, like you said, Tupac was a visionary, he wanted change and did everything in his power to try to make it happen, from movies to interviews on TV to actual movements in the streets. Both legends and it's really sad that they were both killed so young, the world would have been different with those 2 alive. Edit: great reaction bro, good job getting the lyrics and rapping along, that helps me personally to catch the rhyme scheme (obviously slower than them lol), I also think Em had a very short verse, I think he didn't wanna have more than BIG. If you wanna do full albums I think Ready to die is his best album, and some old school like 36 chambers of WuTang or not so old school like Man on the Moon or some othee underrated rappers like Xzibit's "Restless" from the 2000. Just do what you like bro, we're here for your reactions, now I'm gonna check your old Eminem videos lol.
I would recommend listening to TES first it’s the funniest one I did and my personal favorite one I’ve done it’s about 3 parts to that one, Relapse is another good one as far as my reaction to the things he was saying and catching bars, kamikaze was my first one didn’t really catch the bars like I do now at all because that was my first time listening to him since like his “not afraid” days but as you see from kamikaze album reaction to my reactions now with Eminem I’ve got way better at catching bars
@@pwtv339 yeeh I'm on Kamikaze right now cause it was the first it popped up, but yeah now that you got the lyrics the bars will be easier (plus listening for a while sharpens your ears) lol Thanks for the content.
Biggie the greatest of all time
Big
Eminem produced a few tracks on 2 Pac “Resurrection” album.
“Runnin” Dying to live of that album is a masterpiece.
If you haven't done it yet, "Niggas Bleed". The greatest example of storytelling in hip hop history! BET!!!!

2pac is greatest rapper ever
Quincy Jones thought he was the greatest lover ever.
Knowing what we know now about Diddy, it makes me wonder if Biggie really did do some of this...
He didn't
❤️🔥
