Let's give it up for Mr. Clem Burke, Blondie's drummer! He's a beast at letting that driving beat on most of their songs. That shirt you recognize is the same graphic new wave band New Order used for their hit record "Blue Monday". Obviously Blondie used it back in 1979. New Order used it in 1983.
Not 90's but the late 70's probably. Blondie was so ahead of her time. She came out of punk. I started listening to her when I was in middle school in the early 80's. So talented. Also totally natural stunning looks.
It's not a bad song, but it wasn't one of her more popular hits, at least in the US. I think it was bigger in the UK. IMO, their best album was "Parallel Lines" (1978). "Atomic" is from the next album, "Eat to the Beat" (1979), with an "Atomic" single release in 1980. I think they said they were trying to pick up on the theme of "Heart of Glass" but run through the filter of a Spaghetti western.
my favorite Blondie song...

The RAF roundel was a popular logo used in the MOD movement in the sixties and then in the late 70s MOD revival (The Jam).
Blondie a group way ahead of its time. And lead singer Debbie Harry a true icon. Try Dreaming, One Way or Another.
Incredible tune which I always loved..Blonde are so special..Great video reaction..Thank you and all the best from the U.K🇬🇧🇺🇸👍

One of 3 contrasting number 1s the group had in the uk in 1980🎩❤️👍
definitely one of their biggest hits in europe
This is the album Version (first ever video album btw) the single had 2 verses and not the bass bit in the middle!
That song is from September 1979. There's no single Blondie song I don't like. And they are still around making music and releasing records.
Love Blondie❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
Gorgeous, in a TRASH BAG! Drummer, Form Burke is top tier.
So original. "Dreaming" next, please.
