I'm building this same model and man the details they put into this kit is amazing and the instructions and paint call outs are really good they actually help you detail each piece and section of the parts of the motor correctly and as close to what it looked like from factory based on pictures of line all the thinking is done for you on the different colors to paint which I like sometimes cause it makes for a relaxing build with not much thinking involved. Why does everyone want to rust this build up why not build it like it's a brand new land rover with zero miles or in Barret Jackson prestigious condition
i'm new and i'm glad you built the land rover completely. I can learn something from this. I bought it this week. Even if it's been 1 or 2 years since you built this thanks
I just got this same kit for Christmas except the box from revelle is the old style box not the new style german kit boxes but exact samr kit and the instructions are the exact same as yours all nice and in color and the box says level 5 but the instructions say level 3 like your box says lol but its yhe same kit and it comes with some extra parts to use on other builds which extra parts are always nice. But this is a beautiful model hery detail led parts wise and they tried to make every single detail its own part which is nice yo give it contrast so parts stand out and xatch the eye u like if it eas molded in. Gotta love revel new tooling and remaking older kits as well with new topling and instructions and nee option parts
I have just discovered your channel and really enjoy your work. I have decided that I would like to do an Aussie version of the build but can only find Left Hand Drive Revell kits on line. Could you please let me know the kit number so I can be sure I am buying a Right Hand Drive version. Many thanks.
Hi Greg!!! unfortunately I can't help you, I don't think there is a Revell kit with the right guide for these models, maybe you can find something on ebay but older models (t1 or t2)
Absolutely amazing work! I'm thinking of getting one of these to replace the original body on my Axial SCX24 remote control truck. Do you know if it's big enough?
Very nice model could you do me a favor ? Do you know the axle distace between the center of the wheels wanna build a rc version but cant figure out the wheel space Thanks in advance
which paint did you use on body color? It says it's light blue on the manual but I don't think it is. It looks more like light green but then I can't really find the one that matches the example on the package...
I’ve attempted to build this model 3 times and it. Never came out looking this great . Wow

I'm going to start model making, my wife just bought this for my 74th birthday.
You're lucky!have a nice work on it!
Fascinating! I just realized I need a waaay smaller brush lol
Inoticed you were rubbing the body parts with a sanding sponge. what type and grade did you use. Love the finished article.
Thank you! Well,i use normally the soft sponges by 3M grit "fine" that it is very similar to p400 grit

Super nice, can you tell me the distance from front wheel and rear wheel? It is 13 cm?
Thank you! Yes the wheelbase is 13cm
So, life-like. It looks as if you could get in and drive away. Well done! I like your brushes - could you please give a recommendation?
Thank you

The wheelbase of the Land rover is 115mm
if the wheelbase of the scx24 fit with the land rover body, you can make it

it's a spray paint turquoise found in a local hardware
the weathering is sepia and tamiya weathering kit.
Excellent video , interested in what you used for the rust effect on the exhaust. Was it a template ?
It's a vallejo air rust color
What is the name of the stencil you're using for rust affects?
