‘Goolwa House’ was designed and owner-built by Rogier Voorhoeve of StudioRogier. All-electric with a 7.1-Star energy rating, it is split-level to accommodate the contour of the sand dune it sits on. Sustainable features like north orientation, shade control, cross ventilation, thermal mass, solar PV panels and batteries, insulation and draught sealing are all present in the home.
