I'm sitting in my office with my skin products next to me, searching Dr. Idriss videos to get her take - since she clearly knows her stuff and tells it as it is. I am so glad to get her thoughts on my favourite products and to learn which ones may not be worth the step. I love my Paula's Choice 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant. I have combination skin, and I just love the results I get from regular use of this product! Glad that she recommends it as well.

Hi Dr. Idriss, thank you so much for the video. Very informative! I particularly love how you don't necessarily like the term 'anti-aging'. Before moving to the private sector, I was a Neuroscience Researcher focusing on mathematical modeling of gerontology. And in my lab, we like to use the term 'aging gracefully'. Because aging is a normal process. I take care of my skin with life style and skin care products that allow my skin to age gracefully :)

    Hi,
I have been following you for a while now. Love the videos but mostly they are focused around facial skin and beauty treatments.
Can you plz do a video about seborrheic dermatitis. A lot of people suffer from dandruff etc and keep trying shampoos etc but often the skin under all that hair needs some attention.
    Look forward to it. Thanks.
Ps: love your PJs. Do share where you get them from. 🙂

I wish u posted this earlier! I have the Neutrogena salicylic acid wash and I didn't know how to use it.. so it didn't work for my pores. (I just used it as a cleanser) So I now ordered the Paula's Choice one, and it's probably going to be a waste of money since I could've just used it ur way with the Neutrogena and didn't need to buy the Paula's Choice one.
I have used the Neutrogena one overnight on dry skin tho and it didn't really do anything... My skin is used to 2% salicylic acid (I've used it for some months now) so the Paula's Choice 2% salicylic acid one will probably not do anything too, knowing all the 2% salicylic acid products I've used didn't work at all for my pores.
Do u think the Paula's Choice one will work (regarding this)? Or is there something else I can use for my skin? I don't want to buy too many products so I can buy maybe 1-2 affordable ones.

I'm so surprised how popular that Neutrogena wash is. I tried it about a year ago, used it 3 times over I think 2 days. I ended up with such a bad chemical burn - beet red skin that was unbearably itchy and burned when I touched it, plus my eyes swelled as if I was stung by bees! I researched the product after the fact and found HUNDREDS of the same review. I always thought I had oily skin but have recently learned I lean more towards combination. Are there any ingredients to definitely avoid for sensitive skin? I'm so nervous to try new chemical exfoliants now when I don't know how I'll react.

I’ve been using (at night) the salicylic acid cleanser from cerave, followed by glycolic acid from L’Oréal then vit c and moisturizer. Is it ok to use 2 acids? It hasn’t irritated my skin and has very much improved the skin texture and smoothness of my face..? Just wondering if this combination will eventually bite me in the butt and start to irritate etc. been doing this routine for about 3 weeks without issues

Hello dr shereene. I am glad to find you on UA-cam. Thanks for your skin educative talks.. clear and informative. I would like to know skin regime during breastfeeding as lactating mother I find very less time to skincare routines. Are AHA’s can be directly followed by a moisturizer ? If I remember properly , you mentioned in earlier video retinoids not recommended during pregnancy/breastfeeding?
