    "If verse 24 is YHWH speaking, that would mean that YHWH is finite and the suppliant is eternal.."
    Neither of these claims need be true though. FF Bruce and BW Bacon took the phrase not about lifespan but about "the shortness of Jahve's set time" (the time left before Zions restoration vs. 13) and to "not summon him when it is half expired."
    This explanation is in Buzzards books as well so I don't understand this challenge. It ignores the actual position.
    And YHWH could be seen as speaking to his LXX Wisdom (Proverbs 8) who is created.
