Once you beat the game and find out you have to get all the gems & relics to really put a stop to their "plan", you find yourself playing all the levels and stages multiple times to get all these gems and relics. When you finally finish, you must once again fight Dr. Neo Cortex. The fight is...the same exact thing, just different dialog. And to me it seems like the music was changed slightly (I like the first one better). However, what's really different is the ending. You get the real ending if you win this time.
For the ending credits, at the very end, you see developer times for the levels with this ending. These are even lower times than the Platinum Relic times for Time Trial. They're insane to beat. I barely can get all the Relics, much less try to beat these records. They aren't impossible to beat, people have claimed to have beaten them, but do note that nothing special happens if you do, the Platinum Relics are the best you can get in the game for a reward, and getting all Platinum Relics doens't even do anything, if I remember correctly.
So yes, this is the last Crash 3 video I have. I did only the bosses. No levels or anything. Depending on whether or not I feel like it will depend on if I ever actually record playthroughs of the levels themselves. But right now I'm not planning it. - Ігри
This ending was so damn good and satisfactory. It destroyed the main villain but not the way you would expect. Bravo Naughty Dog
it was great ending for an original trilogy. this is the only series from ND that i adore
It is difficult to say what has happened to our enemies. But I doubt we will see them for a looooooooong time.

Until Cortex, N. Tropy and Uka Uka discover the multiverse and plan to destroy it, scattering the Quantum Masks and causing Crash, Coco and Aku Aku to head to the multiverse to stop Cortex for a fourth time.

Funny how Uka Uka is meant to be all powerful, yet he can't take on the Evil Twins with Aku Aku, or outpower two of his minions that have turned into babies due to time disruption.
Probably Aku Aku's and Uka Uka's Power are the total oposite, they're balanced at a point that any brother can kill the other, that's why their fight always ends in a draw in-game.
About the Baby cortex and Tropy...uh...comic relief, i guess.
The entire game is based around Cortex and Uka Uka using a time machine to travel through the ages in an attempt to gather the crystals to take over the world or something. In the end with all the crystals when you defeat him the machine breaks. Sending them back to their younger selves.

Cortex and Uka were way better when they were voiced by clancy brown.
Clancy Brown as Uka Uka was terrifying when I was a kid. Especially the game over screen.

it wasn't removed on purpose. it's just that if you change the music volume to over 85%, something like that, the bass guitar tune dissappears. it's some sort of bug in the music track

There are actually 30 levels but they are numbered through 32.
27 and 29 are just extra segments of 7 and 19, if memory serves.
Level 32 is accessed through the extra segment of level 11 (not the BONUS area, the other one when you acquire the yellow gem, I think).
Gosh, I wish so badly they had rolled the end credits to the remastered version the same way, with that badass remix of end boss theme. That would have made my life complete.

@bobbymeda They didn't change it between the two fights. It changes if you put the sound over 89%. I tried it many times.

On the tiger levels, there are a LOT of time boxes, so times under 20 seconds are easily possible.

i'm aware of the limitations of ps1 back in the day but i think it would've been a good idea to make the final 100% fight a hard mode cortex with more life or more attacks maybe keeping the mechanics

In the N Sane Trilogy which I’m working on right now in the third game Hog Ride the World Record does not meet the developer time so the Platinum Relics are good enough for me.
Maaan talk about Epic fights. I loved this game ^^ Only other "boss fight" i could ever compare with this one, Crash Bandicoot-wise, would be the Nitrus Oxide boss race in Crash Team Racing.
Just to let you all know - Wrath of Cortex takes place after this in the main Crash Bandicoot timeline Crash Bandicoot: It’s About Time is more of a separate timeline Crash 4.

theres a secret level. two of them. one in the bike one, at night. you hit this sign that has a alien, and in the jarassic one, you go the second run from the triscertops and on the second perotactly you get taken right, as if you are gunna die but it takes you to this level filled with platforms and wampa and lifes, i have 99 lifes thru one of them, and you don't get anything from the lower levels. but it took me 3 years to beat.
