The game now has weight physics off so buildings float on a single block. Don't buy it I wasted my money on it. This a deal-breaker for me so take it as a warning.

i love how a game can be realistic and pixely at the same time
The fact jack knows terms such as volumetric, procedural etc. aka terms about 3d inviromental games animating and modeling just makes me have a bigger respect for him.
This game's mechanics are genuinely beautiful. It runs on voxels instead of polygons. Voxels are 3D pixels, they're like Minecraft blocks but much smaller and with volume to them (Minecraft is ironically made of polygons). So whenever you destroy something in this game it feels more realistic and thus more satisfying, because you're actually picking away at individual particles that stack on top of each other.
