There are a lot of hackers in fire Emblem pvp that's one thing that's never changed. And if 3 houses had it I'm sure it should have been the same there. You also missed the female only, all warp team.
At least there’s local multiplayer still if you can. I’ve gone back recently to play it with my cousin and it’s much more fun than Fates imo. I hope the next FE game will bring back multiplayer with Fog of War. I was looking forward to multiplayer in Fates until I tried it...
I recall trying out fates PvP with a friend at high school, in their castle. Accidentally left my healer in the open for their MC, had a heart attack... Then realized humans make mistakes as she didn't attack Felicia, completely failing to notice I moved her into the open. Humans easier than AI 10/10
This is true I am a human and run into doorframes every day. I suffer from immense brain damage and have to play fire emblem on casual. Also I owe thousands of dollars to the IRS for tax fraud that I don’t remember committing.

YO! For real! I think 3H really needs post game content, even if it's pvp. It's a very build and level centric game, so it'll heavily draw in the crowd. I'm so disappointed that IS decided to make a heavy RPG game, yet never thought of utilising it to the full potential, even after they made Heroes.
I hate the lack of post game stuff. Maybe you could loop a year and skip Byleth's birthday at least? Maybe there could be a postgame story on AM where the gang goes down to Agartha to stop TWSITD. You could finish CF by putting in Agartha, and for VW and SS you could take down what remains of the Agarthans. I think it could be a good postgame story, with you still being able to play after you finish it.
@@jet_set8648 Eh, I'm fine with it. I approached the game day one with the mindset of "I am going to replay this game once I'm done with a part, until I've gotten them all", so the idea that I couldn't continue after I finished a part never bothered me.
@@jet_set8648 I'm pretty sure the "post-game" content is Three House's incredible replay value. You have three different houses to choose from at the beginning, each with their stories/paths. You also have really good customizability for each character which means you can build them differently with each playthrough. Think about it, very few, maybe even zero replay-heavy games ever have post-game content.

I also forgot about the deaths from Dwyer's paralogue...somehow. I eventually just went the short route and kill the boss immediately. Kid makes a very effective butler though. Update: I have just finished Sophie's paralogue, promoted Odin to Swordmaster and got him married with Elise. On to get the best mage of the game.
I swear to god in almost every single PVP match I had to fight against a Miracle Lethality Midori, a Rally Bot, Warp Azura and Mario Corrin and of course all of them had replicate. Good times

I remember going through an entire playthrough, devoting all of my resources towards the same five units, preparing EVERYTHING to make sure they were perfect. And then I took on my friend. She decimated me. And kept decimating me until I gave up. I have beaten her a whole one time and that was when she held back with a different team. Though being fair, if anyone in my group of friends is a Fire Emblem fan, it's her.
Oh yeah this game mode... yeah I played it like once, honestly the GBA Arena was more fun, I would love a more co-operative game mode though, like say two armies that has to LTC a castle and compete to see who kills their respective boss first.

The only way for PvP to work in FE is to give people generic units with mediocre stats. It would make it more about setting up combat lines and less about getting in position to ORKO the entire enemy team.
Never forget going up against a hacker with a Corrin that somehow is able to wield Siegfried, Raijinto and the Fujin Yumi all at once. Whilst also being surrounded by five King Garons.
I just went first and used Rescue to come back to safety, so they'll be forced to do something or just get slowly killed one by one by Corrin paired up with Silas with the Nohr Noble thing that gives then their pair up partners skills. Vantage, Astra, Aether, Luna, Sol, Pavise and Aegis all on the same character, skill proc passives on the remaining slots.
"Time to send in my tanky unit." Shurikened, into astra crit combo, fun times. Fates should've done what awakening did and make it so you fought an AI using a users created team. And even then it wasn't balanced. It required certain marriage matchups for best stat children (morgan the manakete).

a whole team of galeforce + Wings of mercy can wipe you in a single turn. some dancers can even galeforce and then dance. its actually crazy how people think you can turtle in feh.
this is pretty much exactly how a lot of battles went in the ancient times. one of the things Julius Caesar was famous for was his commitment to staying absolutely put so as not to lose any advantages he may have. Usually the tiebreaker in these standoffs is 1. most commonly, one army runs out of food and needs to make a move now or starve or 2. one army unexpectedly gains an advantage that gives them the stronger advantage (reinforcements, sneaking a unit around to flank the enemy, etc.). Neither of which happens in Fire Emblem PvP, so they’re likely ending turns to this day
I genuinely enjoyed Fates PvP. Had some fun and close matches with my friends in high school. Only downside for was doing it online and running into an opponents team that was like 5x stronger than my own about 50% of the time.
God bless Josephine and skill inheritance. My army of busted avatars was great. Legit just have all the DLC so you get the free Boots and Dragon Herbs and the Gold farm stage, make your avatar, put it on Phoenix, solo speed run the whole game in like an hour and a half, save your avatar in the unit logbook and recruit to your main file. Having an army of avatars with various classes and skills with capped stats is stupid fun.

Echoes PVP would just be bow knights with maxed Luna/Killer/Radiant Bows and around 40 in every stat from going through the Mercenary path repeatedly

@@CodeMarbles Galeforce only activates once during your own phase, it would be nice if they removed that and dancing cause 1 for 3 is still pretty dumb.
a whole team of galeforce + Wings of mercy can wipe you in a single turn. some dancers can even galeforce and then dance. its actually crazy how people think you can turtle in feh.

this is pretty much exactly how a lot of battles went in the ancient times. one of the things Julius Caesar was famous for was his commitment to staying absolutely put so as not to lose any advantages he may have.
Usually the tiebreaker in these standoffs is 1. most commonly, one army runs out of food and needs to make a move now or starve or 2. one army unexpectedly gains an advantage that gives them the stronger advantage (reinforcements, sneaking a unit around to flank the enemy, etc.). Neither of which happens in Fire Emblem PvP, so they’re likely ending turns to this day

I loved the pvp in this game though it was amazing and needs to be brought back

I genuinely enjoyed Fates PvP. Had some fun and close matches with my friends in high school.
Only downside for was doing it online and running into an opponents team that was like 5x stronger than my own about 50% of the time.
I was gonna ask "There was PVP in Three Houses??" Then I realized I probably misunderstood.

God bless Josephine and skill inheritance. My army of busted avatars was great. Legit just have all the DLC so you get the free Boots and Dragon Herbs and the Gold farm stage, make your avatar, put it on Phoenix, solo speed run the whole game in like an hour and a half, save your avatar in the unit logbook and recruit to your main file. Having an army of avatars with various classes and skills with capped stats is stupid fun.
