Nice hole shot! Personally I am not a fan of that spot due to the lack of kelp and overfishing. Looked like a fun dive though!
Well, not being from the area, I don't know too many locations for diving. I scoped that place out on google maps and thought it would be worth a try since the structure in the area is mainly layered rocks, which often creates holes spaces for fish to hang out in. It wasn't too bad there that day - saw plenty of life. One of those kelp bass actually swam up to me from the weeds and stared me down -- it was pretty big, too -- maybe 18" or so.
@@PacificCoastHunterz ooo nice! To be fair I only dove there a handful of times, so maybe I just got unlucky or was looking in the wrong spots.
Let me know next time you are heading down to socal. If I can't join you I could at least share some solid spots(IMO) you could dive.

Is the laser carbon roller better than the Pathos Sniper roller?
I've never tried the Sniper Roller, yet - I wouldn't be able to give you an answer on that.
