This chubby bladed knife is a multi-function tool. The Shuffle features a capable, wide drop-point blade, a backspacer that doubles as a bottle-opener, and a lanyard hole that is also an emergency screwdriver. To make sure this tough little knife stays put in your hand, it had an oversized choil and a finger-contoured handle with the new Kershaw K-Texture grip. - Наука та технологія
Great review of what looks to be a good light edc...and as someone who appreciates a cold brew, I like the bottle opener.
I had the same thought!
Good job paul! Pretty sweet knife too
Thanks man!
I've been dying for one of these since I saw it in Kershaw's newsletter
Nice first overview man looks good!!!
I've carried this thing for around 4 months now as an edc. Have used it for everything from the usual box cutting to carving and utilized both the screwdriver lanyard hole along with the bottle opener quite often. I don't why there's so many negative comments. It sharpens fast and with little effort, locks into the hand, and is pretty durable. I've dropped it more times than the average person should be dropping a knife thanks to forgetting about it thanks to the light weight. It still feels brand new. I do understand that they made it in 2 steels though. Maybe that's where all the complaining is coming from. I had to sandpaper the blade down though. The bead blasted finish gets stale after awhile. Along with removing the pocket clip (hate those on most knives though) and personalized it with some etching. I like it.
Will do. I have been trying to keep the same setup as Ben had but I am not realizing that his arms were much longer than mine are so he could hold the knife further away :)
TACTICAL CLOTHESPIN! My life is complete now. :D
Pretty cool design for a small knife. Welcome to solo blade overviews, Paul. :)
Nice little knife. I've been using mine for the last week or so. =)
Your doing good with the overviews man. You got big shoes to fill, but I think you'll get the hang of it.
Could you compare this to the cryo?
I'm looking for a small EDC-knife, and thinking of this or the cryo.
my liner lock is really tight, does that break in over time or do i need to oil it or what, need help
Love the addition of a pocket shot! Why the left-hand crossdraw, though? Just curious. These new Kershaws all look so cool...I want all of them, 'cause they're so nicely designed and I want to try a Kershaw, but I have slightly better knives serving the purposes already. :/ (So I guess I can't complain.)
is aus 8 stainless steel or rust proof?
Your doing good with the overviews man. You got big shoes to fill, but I think you'
its not about if you have one around or not, but that almost anybody has a good idea of how big the object is, clothespins come in all sorts of sizes so we now have to guess the size of two objects not just one, knife vs knife comparisons only work if the viewer has any of the knives shown or knows them pretty well. maybe you dont have a bottle of coke around but you have a pretty good idea of its size, besides, the bottle its just an example, it could be anything...
haha it was actually a right handed cross draw from my left pocket and what it comes down to is I suck at using my left hand :)
advice: i know the "tactical clothespin" is a mainstay running joke on blade hq but how about using an object everybody has a very clear idea of its size, maybe something like a bottle of coke, that way everybody would get a clearer idea of how big (or small) the knife is
also, i would like to ask, that bottle opener doesnt create a hotspot?
looks like the cold steel mini tuff light
Tactical clothes pin is where I draw the line. Lamo. Lol.
Everyday i'm shuffling.
How to indentify the legit and fake?
Thanks for the review. Tough crowd in here. There are two versions of this knife. One with 8Cr13MoV and 3Cr13. Anyway to tell them apart from the packaging?
You can only get the 3Cr13 one at walmart. It's a low quality, low price walmart exclusive. Just buy it from blade HQ and you'll be fine.
Connor Smith not sure when they started it but they now sell the 8cr version at Walmart it's around $15 there
the 8Cr version has the model number 8700 inscribed on the blade
You don't have a clothespin around? I have clothespins, but not a bottle of Coke.... In my opinion size comparisons are nice, but they're best when they're with other knives, and only then if you're familiar with those. But I'm at a point where I can tell pretty well how big a knife will be from the dimensions compared to my knives.
Also, good question. But I would use this knife mainly for opening things as a people-friendly EDC, so I personally would rather have it than not, probably.
After I lost my spyderco PM2 at work, I decided to carry a cheap knife to work so if I lose it I wont cry like a bitch.
the tactical clothes pin was used by Ben you must be new
Knifeworks has it in stock. $15.95.
Thank you!!!!
Just ain't the same without Ben!
Good review. I'm not very impressed by the knife though. I checked one out in person at a local store and it felt very cheap and poorly made which is a shame 'cuz it could be a nice emergency or extra carry knife (like you mentioned having it in your camera bag).
Where's Ben
so this a fake one?
No way is that end thing a glass breaker, not pointy enough and the folder is so small you can't get a good grip on it.
Sold out... NOOOOO
He took a job in Oregon he's gone
Dunno what kershaw was thinking with that "K texture tho" it looks very cheap and ugly in my opinion, but some people may like it i guess.
Piss off, missing Ben is no reason to thumbs down the video. Ben isn't coming back, unsubscribe and move on.
Back the cam out bro. Whole review in CLOSE UP
Just pointing out something. Tried ordering it , and was pretty surprised. Rookie mistake. Absolutely thumbs down!
Fnd
Cool, I'm not alone. 2 thumbs down!
Creeper
awwwww maaaan
Sold out! I miss Ben already! Thumbs down!
Come on Paul. You went to school for this. We all know this is half ass. You can do better than Ben. Move away from how he did his reviews.
