Enjoyed your video, I have had my knife for a little over a year now and I really have no complaints I work on a ranch so I used it quite often and it gets pretty dirty what I like is that you can disassemble it but it can be tricky putting back together mine has the regular steel blade instead of the black blade and it says 7800 I'm not sure if that indicates the hardest of the blade?.. you are correct when you said it's just doesn't seem too hold an edge on sharpness I have to hone it quite often other than that for the price I was pretty well satisfied!!!... Got mine a couple of months ago, I actually like it. Yes, it doesn‘t stay sharp for a long time, I actually think about giving it a convex grind as I mostly use it for cutting boxes and stuff. But it‘s small, it got that little prybar/screwdriver and it‘s a $15 knife so...if it breaks, I don‘t care, I buy another one, that’s it. I usually also carry a swiss army knife in addition, so for a small EDC knife the Shuffle totally does its job. And I don’t have any issues regarding smooth opening. The blade is not totally dead centred but with a cheap EDC knife I don‘t really care about that. If you don‘t like it, try the CRKT Squid. Quite similar in size, same blade steel. It is a bit heavier than the Shuffle, but we‘re talking about 20 grams so it doesn‘t really matter. And it doesn‘t have any additional tools.
Ive got crkt squid and hands down its as solid as a rock i recently bought a shuffle 1 for my collection and itstarted falling apart in the first week but its fixed now and i still use it now and again
I recently bought a shuffle 1 as a daily carry as an alternive to my swiss army knife.i like the blade shape and it gives a few more grip options and its an easy shape edge to keep sharp but i had problems with mine within the first week the backspacer became very loose as the screws loosened up but because of its construction the nuts on the screws are not captive so they just spin as try to tighten them but its now sorted,also the pocket clip became loose at the same time so that was removed as i dont need it as i dont like to let people see me carrying a knife as i live in the uk . I know its a budget knife but for the same amount you can buy a good knife with better build and finish but i still like it.
They're kind of cool. Very strong blade retention. I removed the thumbstuds for extra safe loose carry. It was chewing up my thumb anyway, the detent is so stiff. Mine stays sharp. Maybe the factory mislabeled your blade and its really 3Cr or not properly heat treated. I use it to cut tape on boxes and open stuff.
i was a navy electrician when i got my first kershaw shuffle. I used the dog shit out of it and i am sure i lost it in a bilge or it got stolen. I have since bought 4 more and lost all but the most recent. I really like this knife.
Love this knife. Its great for the price. My knife doesnt have the grinding issue and seems to hold the edge pretty well. I dont use it for heavy duty stuff. So far I like it. Can't complain, for the price its a good deal.
Sorry, you may have mentioned it in the vid, but your complaints about the blade-centering and the scraping noise when you open and close it may be largely resolved by disassembling, cleaning and lubing your knife, or at bare minimum, at least lubing the detent ball track on the blade and the blade pivot with a drop or two of oil.
Hey man. I have that pocket knife for a year now. Been sharpening it for every two or thr÷e months.. I use it at work cutting ropes, tapes,nylon .. Im not very happy from the blade.. The i like it beacuse it is small and i take it anywhere i go in my jeans pocket with out even feeling it on me. And i most like the beer bottle opener.

That scratch is from the ball detent. If it feels rough Maybe its locked and needs oiling.

Check out cold steel mini recon 1! Cant get full grip on it unless you use your keys or make a small paracord lanyard.
