    Annabella is so lovely. I am horrified by what I've read about her ordeal and the trial. She sure does have courage. I hope she can recover and I hope to see her again in films and TV soon. God Bless her.

    What a lively and lovely actress. Do hope she recovers from her ordeal. Seen her in the Sopranos recently. wow she was so good in that. Stole all the episodes she was in. Great acting. Lots of luck.

    Been in love with Annabella ever since I first saw her in "What Dreams May Come" so many years ago. Such an underrated movie that was overshadowed by "Titanic" at the time. Imo, Dreams was a much greater love story with much more depth than Titanic, no pun intended. But I guess people weren't used to seeing Robin Williams (May he rest in peace) star as a leading man in a drama yet. And Anna is also such an underrated actress, and it's absolutely sick and terrible what Weinstein did to her and many others. May he not rest in peace when his time comes. Looking back, it's really sad what has happened to the cast of "What Dreams May Come." With what happened to Annabella with Weinstein, Robin committing suicide, Cuba Gooding Jr with his shady legal troubles, and Max Von Sydow just recently passing away a few days ago as well, literally a day after I just rewatched the movie for the first time since 1999.

      Thank you for point this out, I also think Titanic was overrated and didn't come to know the film you are talking about at the time.

    Thank you for sharing your blog about this clip! No matter how they try to splice it in the courtroom, there isn’t anything that’s damning to her testimony in it. If this is all they’ve got, they should just close up and go home now, because it’s just the beginning of a long line of testimonies to come. I’m glad it was a decent guy that showed up at your door and not some goon. Annabelle’s interview with “Hondo” 3:13, is witty and charming. Don’t feel bad for providing the clip to that guy, instead feel proud that you posted it for everyone to see it without editing. You did the right thing 👍🏼

      Kinda_Violet Aura This woman is a liar. I dated a woman for 4 years, and she would tell “little lies” that I thought were harmless. Later, she told ENORMOUS LIES that were provable lies. This woman speaking to Letterman is a LIAR. She knows that a lot of people are counting on her to put Harvey away for life, so she will do ANYTHING necessary to make that happen.

    Don, that is truly an amazingly bananas story. Thanks for sharing it.
    For what it's worth, in my opinion, you shouldn't feel any kind of way about your involvement in this. I don't think you had any other choice, and the fact that you're going so much out of your way to explain the proper context of this interview says a lot of positive things about your integrity.
    Plus, that's a whole lot of trouble the defense is going through to get this one clip so quickly. Are they that desperate to find ways to defend this guy? I hope so. He's awful.

    • @dongiller

      Don, I randomly came to this clip, watching one of Ms. Sciora’s movies (Before I Go)… am I to understand that this interview with DAVE, in which she talks about spinning yarns and making up stories (joking around) was used by the defence in the case ?

    @Don Giller what would have happened if you didn't have this episode/clip? Could you be fined/found in contempt of court if, hypothetically, you couldn't produce something which you did not possess?

    • @dongiller
      @dongiller  4 роки тому +10

      I doubt there would have been any repercussions. They had confused me with the person who had previously put the full show up and then had taken it down (and I’m pretty sure I know who that was), so the burden was on them, not me.
      Also, and I was told this today by a friend, I could have insisted that they get the video from Worldwide Pants. I might have been threatened, but they wouldn’t have had a case against me.
      But the way I saw it, I just didn’t want to get mired down in such a legal web - the time and expense was stuff I wanted to avoid, all over a 6 1/2- minute video - so the easiest and least-stressful option was to just give them what they wanted and be done with it then and there.
      Still, none of that relieved me of the hideous notion that I had enabled them. But based on all the news reports I’ve seen, the cheap trick seems to have backfired spectacularly. And so for that I thought that maybe it was worth it after all.

    Your story is creepy. It's like eg. they need a recording of some Beastie Boys lyrics and go find it from a private citizen who owns a bootleg copy. How could a third party recording of a show be acquired from a private citizen (that could have manipuletd), whilst the same material is fully accessible from the original source? They call it "the Land of Freedom"...
