Hi Sally , im sending you loads of love and Hugs .... i hope your mum gets better real soon sweetheart .... so sorry this has happened a real shock it is ...bless her ... love you too bits my love ..xxxxx
Hello Sally, I wish your mum better soon, God Bless you both dear. Lots of love Deborah. I know and understand what you are saying Deborah NHS Domestic Xx look after yourself too
So sorry to hear your mum has had a heart attack. I wish her a speedy recovery. I know what you mean about the NHS. My husband had a massive heart attack while at work 2 years ago, all was dealt with very quickly, ambulance came within minutes and took him to a hospital about 2 hours away, he had 2 stents fitted. They were terrific, but about a month ago he suffered pains again went to our local A&E dept, left after 6 hours of not being seen, there were people sitting there for hours who had to be admitted but were waiting for beds. We did go back the nxt day, and after about 11hours wait, we did actually get seen to. They said they thought it was ‘cardiac related’ and he was sent home after being told if it happens again, use his spray and if pain not gone after an hour, then phone an ambulance. A few wks later they did call him in for a check up on a running machine and they did say they didn’t think it was the heart but probably muscular, which was a relief. But I live in fear everyday he’s at work and even sleeping nxt to me, that he may have another one. I hope your mum gets the treatment she deserves and is home recovering soon.
Aww Sally sending hugs and wishing your mum a speedy recovery. Yes I agree about the NHS - My 16 year old son has lost two stone in two months with other symptoms that I won’t bore you with and yet our hospital is still deciding whether he needs to be seen urgently or not. If they decide not urgent there is a 26 week waiting list!!! There will be nothing left of my son if we have to wait that long 😞
Ohhh Sally, I am so sorry to hear about your Mom. We have a fantastic Heart hospital here on Long Island, NY and in NYC too. Bet it would be quicker to fly here than wait till Monday. Such a shame that she has to wait so long. You both seem to be very strong and resilient gals so keep the Faith. . Wishing and praying for the best. Believe and May God Bless! 💕❤💕
So sorry to hear this sally,Love and best wishes to you and your family.Life is crappy sometimes,my dad had alzeimers and was treated appallingly because they just didn't have the facillities to treat him. You're not "allowed to get ill at the weekend" is soooo true when most of the surgical team and doctors don't work weekends.Hope your mum has a speedy recovery, lots of love xxx
Thinking of you Sally and sending best wishes to your Mum. The NHS is a mess, it breaks my heart. It really seems mad that every thing in hospitals seem to stop at the weekend- God help you if you get really ill on a weekend. Iron deficiency can affect so many conditions in a negative way.
Hope your mum gets better soon, ❤❤❤ In Northern Ireland are waiting times to see a consultant is 18mimths for first appointments, a report has come out that our NHS services, are not fit for purpose, and it will take 1 billion pounds to sort it out and bring it up to UK standards..... and I'm no of those patients who is in the waiting process to get a MRI scan, who has back issues for 12yrs, and I had to fight to get a operation done on my discs, through my MP... in 2017, which was unsuccessful, so sent me back to pain management which was 9 months ago he told me me didn't know what to do with me make an appointment for six months time. Which I went to on May to be told that he would have to speak to his colleagues as he didn't know what to do with me. I got a letter in June from pain management to say say they want to send me to see a psychologist, ain't gonna fix my back... so I went to see my doctor to ask for a second opinion which I went two weeks ago, to be told that they don't do fusions of the discs has no scientific evidence prove that they work( I forgot to mention that I am on or relator as I can walk without it as I'm bent over 60 degrees as I cant straighten up right) when I bumped into this lady he asked me what was the matter with me as I was too young age 41 one to be on a walker, she was on a walking stick also and I asked her what was her illness she said it was her discs, and she was going in on the 4th of November to have an operation to have rods either side of her discs, which I said is a fusion?? So so I asked was it being done on the national health she stayed at yes..... to my total shock....... so someone is telling lies somewhere one rule for one and one for another, I'm not letting this go im going back to my MP to ask why is this...... as I have no life I'm never out over the door, I never got the chance to have children because of my illness, and i had went to my first IVF appointment in June 2007 and this started in Oct 2007, so I know too well that are NHS is failing, which is not the NHS workers fault they are at the wits end I'm sure having to work under all these pressures, which cant be food for their own mental health??? And to add to all this we dont have a sitting government in Stortmont since January 2017...... Sorry for rumbling on, but just though I would add my two pence peice into the equation. As I would treat Sally like a best friend as I sont have any company apart from my mum, who is my world my legs, my everything........ xxxxx
Sorry to hear your mum has been taken ill with her heart. I wish her well soon. The NHS situation is a national problem that involves a lot of different factors. A lack of resources, wastage, care of overseas patients that cannot then pay for the care, bed shortages because the care system is also under strain. A shortage of medical staff, etc. The list goes on. You see the pressures involved when you watch the tv programmes "Hospital", 24 hours in A& E, etc. A system is broken, in need of an overhaul to establish how we fix everything and stabilise and protect the NHS for the future generations. Take care xxxx
I'm so sorry to hear about your mam, hope she is recovering well bless her. Both my brother and sister had heart attacks in their early 50' s and both have died, I do feel that I'm approaching 51 i worry that it will go the same way for me. I hope and pray for your mother, take care Sally hope all goes well.xx
Hope all goes well for your mum xx As you know Sally, I had my kidney removed with an attached tumor last September & I had to have a drip infusion before my operation. Now my doctor keeps an eye on me A LOT and had put me on a 3 month Iron Ferrous Sulfate tablet. Its SO IMPORTANT your iron in your body !!!! From someone who know x I wish your mum well Sally & you all take care too !!! Hugs from Alison xx
Oh my Here in Australia We are privately insured and treated immediately or even if equivalent to nhs I've not heard of such a wait I'm so sorry to hear this Best wishes xo
Im sorry to hear about your Mother being ill. My Mam had a Brain Aneurysm, it was just a small bleed at first - on a Friday afternoon, in the early hours of the next morning she then had a massive bleed....we were told to expect the worse...11 months of that year she was in hospital. She is now disabled needing to be hoisted, peg fed, some brain damage and health problems are still on going....She has also had to go into hospital with seizures and Pneumonia a number of times on a Friday. Its like a ghost town over the weekend, and also bank holidays, Easter and Christmas....Its not until you spend time in the hospitals that you see how bad things are, the staff do an amazing job but something needs to be done. I hope your mother gets well soon x
I'm so very sorry to hear this news Debbie. I don't understand how places can shut as people are ill 24/7. They did explain that it's too much money to keep the cath lab open over a weekend for not many people needing it, which I understand. But when you hear stories like yours, it must be frustrating for you. My mum is doing ok, she's been up and down, but hoping she's on the right road now. Thank you for your message and lots of love. X
Oh Sally, I’m so sorry to hear about your Mom, I will keep your Mom and your family in my thoughts and prayers and especially over the weekend. Here in Ireland we have the same problem with the HSE. I live less than 10 minutes from the hospital and the CATH lab is only open 9 to 5 Mon to Fri, ridiculous. The next hospital is 90 minutes away and people have died because it takes too long to get there. Numerous protests over the last couple of years and it hasn’t made a difference. I can’t understand how the governments can pay out money for stuff that seems unimportant compared to the health service, the mind boggles. Look after yourself and the family Sally, love to you all at this scary time xx💕
Sending love and best wishes for your Mums recovery xx
Love and prayers to you, your family and wishing your mum a speedy recovery xx
