👩🏽🍳 One Pan Slow Cooked Chicken Casserole
Ingredients:
- 1 onion
- 5 garlic clove
- 3 cayenne peppers (if you like some light spicy flavour)
- 1 free range organic butchered chicken (mine weights less than 1 kg and has the skin on)
- olive oil, salt & pepper
1. Add olive oil (generously) to a pan, add your onions, garlic and pepper and sautee on medium heat for a few minutes. This will give flavour to the olive oil. For
2. Once everything is golden brown and soften add the chicken and seal on each side, around 1-2 minutes per side. Add salt and more olive oil if the pan gets dry.
3. Cover and cook on low heat for 1 hour. At 30 minutes turn over each chicken piece and cover again. The chicken , vegetables and olive oil would produce a "juice" that will soften and cook the chicken. During the last 30 minutes check your pan every once in a while to make sure it doesn't burn.
4. After 1 hour chicken should be really tender and caramelized in the outside.
5. Serve with a salad and steamed white rice. This two sides fit wonderfully in your dish.
6. Enjoy!

Spring planning is one of my favorite parts of seasonal living. I usually make a planner, where I write what am I going to plant, plan how my tiny garden will look like, where I should place my plants, do I need to buy some containers if there is not enough place. Spring is coming ❤

Yep! That is (usually) how it works. It is to have one focus (or trick us into focus) on doing what we need to do by creating a tiny thing for us to look for...then what we are really looking for shows up right in front of us...LOL😄...works every time. Same for me, but my language of study is Japanese, but I would like to be more consistent with 日本語. Beautiful vlog with a beautiful ending of the vlog. Thank you for sharing.

We have Italian cypress as wind barriers. They are very tall. Their roots invaded 3 of our raised beds. The beds became as hard as a rock with their roots. A couple weeks ago, I had to get a plumber. The toilet was leaking from the bottom. When he took the toilet apart, he looked in the drain with a camera. The cypress roots invaded the drain. The root he cut out was massive. There are 2 cypress causing the problem. We must have them cut down. They are 15 feet from the house by that bathroom. One of them is also lifting up the pavement by the house. I looked Italian cypress online and it says you can actually plant them right next to your house. Not true! All the problems we’ve had because of them proves that. I write this to you to warn you about where you plant them. I wish you the best.

I’ve never been to Portugal but from watching your videos and some Google search it looks lovely. Being in Texas the climates can be similar but winters we have freeze and summers too hot to grow much except melons and okra. Then October growth starts again till it freezes. Definitely think of visiting Portugal if it is in the cards.😊

The hard thing with Danish is the pronunciation. The words are fairly similar to German, Norwegian and Swedish. To some degree also similar to English. And they have a weird way of counting.
